It goes into great detail. with instructions as well as screen captures (Pretty little pictures for reference), as well as even including Xport with the skin. I simply can not explain it more than it is in there, and around 10 posts in this thread, as well as 50 or so posts in other threads.
If you do not know where the help file is it is in the DFX skin folder, in s sub folder DFX Help file.chm. It is also in the start menu, as well as a shortcut on the desktop when the skin is installed, as well as a screen in the installer telling you where it is.
Open the file:
C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\Scripts\AutoLaunch.ini
In notepad, and change the drive letter to match your CD/DVD Drive. This should get you up to speed. (This has been added to the help file for the next release)
Thanks man for the quick response. i just found it on the first page...

Back to Garmin
1st.
All the trials in this whole board aren't exactly working for me with the garmin software. I get the button and it works but it messes with my other buttons pictures and things. But since, I assume, theres a fix on the way, I was wondering if theres a way to set it so that when I hit GPS, it will automatically open the Garmin software full screen? Thanks for your help guys.
2nd.
Anyone get there DVD player to work? My hangs up and I've never gotten the video to embed into the skin. Is someone having more success with another player? Im just using the default.
Once again, thanks for all of your help!

Any sense of when the next release will be available? I'm really looking forward to it. Just got my replacement moboard back so hopefully have a stable system to finalize my install. Loving DigitalFX.

I'm thinking not too much longer.... John has been using all this extra time to perfect everything from the skin graphics, cleaning up cmd's in the skins exectbl, ect...
And when I last talked to him, he seemed eager to get it released.
But John is the only one that can really answer that question

You know, being that is this THE BEST skin out there for Roadrunner, I think it would be really cool to set up a mailing list for updates to the skin. I would defiantly join!

considering that a subforum for DFX is not happening , this would be the best alternative
I too would definitely join. I always felt mailing lists were a little more interactive and alive than forums

DVD works fine with the default (MPC) player. In the video settings screen you need to have the path to Media Player Classic (without the backslash at the end) and "built-in player" should be checked.

Click and hold the buttons at the top, it will allow you to change location.
Since you are willing to read, read the help file in dfx3 folder/helper files/DigitalFX Help.chm; it will answer a whole lot more questions you might have..
Welcome. Make it a point to read the whole thread if only a couple pages at a time, there's a lot of information within it.
