im having some issues with my copy. i searched this topic, and i couldnt find how to change the km/h to mph. i figured it would be in a igo ini file, but i cant find any such file.
to use iguidance, i read what needs to be done. but i dont understand it fully. by comment out, do you mean delete? and just to make sure im after the right line, it is this one right?
"GPS","LOAD;gps.SKIN;iGO8;M:\Program Files\Road Runner\iGO_8_PC\Igo_pc.exe;iGO8||ACTIVATE;iGO8"
or is it all of those igo related gps lines?
not sure if i missed something or what, but do i need a weather plugin to get the weather to work when i am connected to the vast and limitless amounts of information?

Sorry, only metric units are supported by the flash gauges.
Yes, you can delete that line for gps or add a slash in front of it.
Weather page needs no plugin, should work straight off.

i know for the weather it needs an internet connection, but still i get no weather. does it use the gps to determin the location for the weather? if so, do need to do that thing to get 2 serial com ports for one gps unit?

For iG to work, copy the attached file into the skin folder (change the extension to .skin) and then comment-out or delete all lines in exectbl.ini that start with "GPS". Of course, IG has to be setup as the default GPS.
The weather works fine with the latest version of rr; just tested it. What is yours doing or not doing.

Just came across this skin. I am a bit confused. I think I am understanding it correctly but I may be wrong.
Does this skin allow you, if you have the ibus connector in your newish BMW then you can control the electric windows and such from the computer? As well as showing which bulbs have blown and also general information about the car such as rpm, mpg, basically everything the obc would show you. But just on the computer screen. If this is so then that is absolutly fantastic. Could you please confirm the above. There are hints to confirmation all through the thread but no definite confirmation.
How hard would all this be to set up?

RE: saahild
Yes, using only the IBUS interface. Its not that hard but you need some knowledge on computers and the car's wiring.

Hi,
I have a ...hopefully basic problem, FYI I'm running with RIDErunner not ROADrunner - I've downloaded the skin, and extracted it to its own folder. I've then copy'n'pasted the folders into my root riderunner folder on my c drivre.....all looks fine and as before.
I then changed to this new skin in thr RRconfig app. BUT when I open up RR, I see a BMW logo'ed screen come up.....then an error that say's
"c:\Program Files\Riderunner\Skins\igoBMW does not contain a valid skin! check your settings and try again. Details in debug.txt
What is my problem? and also I could not find 'debug.txt'
any help would be great
cheers, Lewis

HD Radio for iGoBMW? Anyone?
Anyone have anything for this skin to get the Mitch HD radio plugin to work with it?
I have been using this skin for a few months now, and love it. But the Radio tuner just sits in the back. I could probably spend massive amounts of time to do this myself, but wanted to see if anyone has this done already to save myself some time..
Thanks again!

RE:RideRunner
Sorry but I dont have time to give much support for the skin. I'm still using an old RoadRunner version (10-10-2008 which fixes the resume audio problem and has all I need).
I'd say the skin is also working in RideRunner as long as you set the background path (maybe I should have used a RR variable for the path...).
