when you say "System just flashes and disappears" .. can you explain a little more please ?
i'll look at the autoit script on GMPC to see what might be happening ...
what are you GPS settings in RRCONFIG ?

Sorry, I meant to write that "System", as in the icon on Menu-3, just flashes then disappears when I click it. disabling transitions in RRConfig solved it.
The GMPC problem seemed to go away last night, I wonder if disabling transitions also helped that?
So, with my two major problems appearing to be solved, let me thank you again for a great skin.

Hey guys,
Iv been using version 2 since last summer and loved it...dident get a chance to update my car pc till now and love the V4 skin even more. Great work Val
I'v got one or two problems:
- When i clicked the top menu bar in Teknik2, it used to go back to the previous screen, but in V4 it goes to the sat nav screen. Is this a feature in the new version?
- Also, i cannot get the Sat nav option to open up my Sygic drive. I have all the settings in roadrunner set to external and the path is fine....also tried to mess around with some of the settings in ExecTBL.ini but to no avail...
Thanks for your help,
Ray

I have tried that, but it still tries to open the external and does not give me any options.
I am also getting an AutoIt error sometimes when i click on the top menu bar:
"Line 1: Error: Variable used without being declared"

OK, i can get it working by opening sygic drive before opening road runner...but i cant change the ExecTBL file in a way that would open it up through the skin..
I can change the shortcut on the desktop to open them both at the same time, so all is good. :-)

Hi Ambush ..
With RRCONFG you must set GPS Mode to "Menu", and you must enter the PATH and NAME of your chosen GPS program. On the TEK4 GPS menu select your chosen GPS program. Only use "External" if your chosen GPS is not one of the other supported options, but again, you MUST enter the NAME and PATH of your chosed GPS program for the GPS screens to work correctly.
Try this and let me know how you get on ...
BTW .. glad you like TEK4.

Will GMPC work on Tek4 with screen transitions at all?
Has anyone gotten it to work?
Also, anyway to have GMPC open straight from clicking the "satnav" button on Menu1? It seems that if you mistakenly hit another gps proggy from the gps menu, it resets the sat nav button to that new selection. Why can it not do the same with Garmin?

i've seen a lot of comments about screens transitions and to be honest unless your car pc is really powerful i'd leave transitions off ... especially with GMPC.
on the main menu ... if you press and hold the GPS button it will bring up the GPS menu from where you can set GMPC as your Sat Nav program ... then everytime you hit the GPS menu buttom GMPC will open - provided you have followed the setup listed 2 posts above ... you can also switch to GPS prog from most screens by tapping the top status bar (where the song title is displayed) ...
