I created a fresh install package using Altiris so all you have to do is install Windows XP, update it, install Flash, install Altiris SVS for free, then add this layer and set it to start on boot and its ready to go.

You would want to run RRConfig (which is included) if you have different media paths you want to set.

It's 130mb so not sure where I can host it, or if anyone even wants it....

Using a non English version of WinXP has some issues with fonts. Im not sure on the steps to solve this, but there are users who have fixed this issue with there windows i think by setting something with localization on there OS. Im not sure though, youll have to do some searching and maybe some of those users can speak up again. But there is a way around this i believe.

I just figured out how to get to the lyrics page. I searched the thread and i found no reference to lyrics, so I'm not sure if its not known about it or if I'm a little behind the 8 ball

the lyrics integration is not a known feature yet, ( i dont think). Still havent found the time for a proper release notes for all the features, been busy at work and also fixing the ratings plugin (now fully working again).

The lyrics are accessed by clicking the text bar right above the playlist in the audio player. There will be a real button for this in the update. If you have lyrics embeded in your mp3 file it will show the lyrics on the screen.

Not included in the skin is a method to scan your music library and autodownload all the lyrics for all your songs. This will be a separate download. I havnt had time to fully test that part yet, so thats why its not included by default.

also, if you click right under the playlist it will show you the album art for the current album.
The audio player will automaticly go to this view after a certain time of being idle.

Currently there is no option to turn that behavior on or off, but ill add i in for people who dont want to see the art etc.

As far as video, if I click on a file to play, it will play, I will hear the video for about 3 seconds (can't see anything), than it stops. If I exit out of video, the video starts to play again. I have audio but no video. The video is running in the background in winamp. But than my music library displays my video library instead.

volume: I dont think this is a skin issue for now, there have been a number of people who've had this problem with RR with all kinds of skins. Not sure of the cause, but a little search should turn up a fair amount of info on it. For reference , my setup in rr.ini for audio is.
Resume Music Mode: Always
Map Master Volume to Control Line : Master Volume

not sure if those will help u or not.

Video: for right now, its required that you set RR to use Internal video player in RR.ini, otherwise u will have issues.
This should be resolved when the download for the skin goes back up.

I may have to look into that more, there is some code inthere to handle the viz when switching to the audio player and back to the main menu. Im not 100% sure i like it though, so may remove it, esp if its not working right on ur end. Basicly when you turn the vis on (on the main screen or audio player) it tracks that you have turned it on. So when you leave the screen, it will turn the vis off and turn it back on after you've reached the new screen and reembed it. With the hopes of having the visuals stay on and visible on multiple screen without having to turn it on/off manually on each screen etc.

Its only setup to work with the main menu and the audio player, and that may be the problem for screens that its setup to work with. So ill give it another once over and look for problems.

Thanks, should shave a couple days off from me having to look at those files.

One thing im prob gonna need is a list of lines you edited in ExecTBL.ini, my local version has had a lot of edits to it in the last few days.

also, for anyone who has any outstanding issues that they havnt been able to resolve from any of the posts in the past few days.
If you can turn on the debug option in RRConfig, run Road Runner until you encounter said issue. Exit RR and look in the root of your RR install dir and send me your debug.txt file to liquidsmoke+bugs@gmail.com. You can also do this from inside the skin.

no need for caps m8... the download link is down for the moment since LS had some trouble with the host, while trying to fix it there's some time for bug fixing so just be patient...

I've noticed that RR and LSX3 run faster now. I know some pointed this out earlier in the thread also. One definite way that I can tell is that my visualization runs smoother now. I've been using an older version of winamp 2.5 or something like that. Is it ok to update to the newest version? I think I was using 2.5 because of speed issues?

i am having a lot of issues with iLists. sometimes when going to the library or audio player screens, the lists mysteriously disappear. i havent been able to reproduce this consistently. but one thing i have been able to reproduce is that if i allow the album art to show up (by not touching anything) and then try and touch the playlist window to get the playlist to show up again, it shows up blank. any ideas?

also one big issue i have noticed is that for some reason, while running the GE earth plugin, everything runs fine in the beginning, but when i try and access the library, Google Earth seems to get resized and re-embedded in a new window in the background. then if i try and access it by clicking the GE button, that screen shows up blank (as if RR can't find the Google Earth window). if i exit RR completely, GE continues to run but its stuck on with GPS config options and a message saying 'this feature is only available in GE Plus'. is this a RREarth plugin issue or something with the skin?

That fixed the problem. LS, what version of WinAmp are you using? Others with problems, what version of winamp are you all using?

RREarth likely isnt compatible with the latest version of GE. Not really sure whats going on with RR earth and if its still under development or not. There is a lot of power that can be had there. One thing that seems to fix GE problems is to delete the kml files that it generates they sometimes get corupted for some reason, not sure why.

As for ilist, there are some issues it seems with this on different people's machines. The best i can offer is to turn on debug option in RRConfig and send the debug.txt files to guino so he can take a look and see (if any) DX errors.

You'll probably notice there's quite a few things not setup yet. Either I don't use them or I haven't messed with them yet. This video "error" is kind of a stumbling point for me right now.....

i would also like to take a look at your rr.ini.

In your debug file, this looks like to be the problem

Try setting RR to use internal video in RRConfig and see if that helps.
