Void 3.3 just posted.
You can install ontop of any existing 3.x version of the skin.

thanks for the donation! It really appreciated.
Hopefully ill be back up and running before summer time hits. Its been about a solid year without a carputer and everyday it kind of sucks, esp when i take a wrong turn somewhere and have to depend on google maps on my cellphone. But im also in a some what of a dilemma of if i could buy a new one today, im not quite sure what i would get 2nd time around. But i hope to have all that figured out by then.
thanks again.

for those using windows mobile phones 5/6 ( I have a blackjack), a little something im working on intergrating into the skin.
nevermind the crappy button graphics, just place holder, but they do function as well as clicking anything on the phones screen from the pc.

Oh My!
does this mean you've found a way for wm5/6 smartphones bluetooth stack to work with freephone?
That would be incredibily sweet!
My Treo 700w doesn't seem to work with anything out there.
Nor did my Treo 650p.........

Hi LS,
Is this the way the options screen is supposed to look in 3.3?
Not to criticize, but I think the 3.2 style was nicer (at least graphically), although being able to use ilists on the option screen is kinda cool.
Maybe I just have to get used to it..................
*edit*
Getting better the more I use it. Pretty functional, but still seems a little plain compared to the old screen though.
Cheers

this is way better than before functionality wise. Its super easy to update and add more options without having to create new graphics. The final goal is to not have to ever use RRConfig but make all setting changes directly in the skin.
also, fyi you have to turn ilist on under General Options, its OFF by default (and in your screenshot). It looks better with it on. As you go to specific setting screens you'll see the old non list style still, that wont change.

no this has nothing to do with freefone or any other phone controller type app available here.
also note, that is a real time interactive view of the phones screen. Think, remote desktop for your phone.

Main Options Flickering
I just downloaded lsxvoid 3.3 and looks and feels great.. Thanks LS.
The only problem i have is when i click on the main options which displays the options menu (General Option, Media Path, Music, Video etc..) just as in a screen shot from a few posts ago i have problems on certain options.
When ever i click on either Music or Video option the window displays, but keeps flickering until i click on the window, but it seems to only happend when i click on either the Music or video option. I have played around with the GPS option and works great.
I also have the path for my music and video set in RR_config and was able to fully use lsxvoid 3.2, so not too sure what the problem is.
Sorry i dont have a screeen shot as i am at my work computer and dont have RR installed.
Not sure whey these 2 options keep flickering, but other than that everything seems ok.
Does this have something to do with flash? I am pretty sure i have flash 9 installed.

I'm actually having the same problem. I was wondering if it's flash too but like you said, I'm pretty sure I updated flash.

Donation sent.
Wish it could be more, but you know how things are these days..............
My appreciation for your efforts far outstrips the amount donated. Thanks for all your hard work.

So what functionality will it give the carputer user?
Will it allow you to place and receive calls over the 'puter or simply control windows media (like remote desktop) to access contacts, schedule, calender, etc?
Is it a freeware version or a program that needs to be purchased?
I assume it works over bluetooth?
I'm really curious now (as you can probably tell).............
Cheers

After a nearly flawless run with the 2.x series, I have had nothing but bad luck with 3.x
Today I saw that 3.3 was released, so I grabbed a copy to upgrade and see if it fixed any of the problems I was having only to encounter an even bigger problem right away: no items in the "OPT" menu.
I installed 3.3 over my 3.2 version, launched RR, and clicked OPT. The page count showed "1/ " (no final #), and the menu was completely empty.
I uninstalled RR and LSXVoid, and then reinstalled both. Same issue.
Any ideas?
EDIT: did a fresh download of the installer again, as well as the latest RR installer.. and this time it worked. Maybe an older RR was breaking it? Either way, doin good now!

Corrupt download maybe?
3.3 works without a hitch for me.
Maybe try an un-install of 3.3, a fresh download of the skin and a reinstall?
Just tossing out ideas here.......
