I've been looking everywhere for an answer and I haven't found one so I decided to post my problem here. Has anyone had any luck using the GAS price finder page and having it automatically pick up the zip code location based off the GPS coordinates? I have both iGuidance and MapPoint installed and neither of them sets the zip code. I have defined gasfinderautorefresh=true in rr.ini. I'm not sure if there's something else I need to set but I thought that feature is built into RR. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Can the Mi/h (Km/h) in the top-centre of the main screen be replaced with something else? (not for everyone - can I just mod mine?)
The value reported by my GPS/RR is always a few seconds behind the actual value and it looks kinda silly when it says 12 and Im doing 40 .
Maybe I could just hide it, but its a good space for another infotag, so I would prefer to display something - even the compass there instead.

Hello,

I'm having an issue with the camera, when I click the button I only see the screen below.

Name: camera.JPG
Views: 547
Size: 34.0 KB

Note I have tried the camera in DigitalFX and it works with no issue. Is there some configuration in Lsx Void void I'm missing?

Thanks

Hello,
The DSATX interface mentioned earlier needs comfoolery because flash can t connect directly to the serial port but it can connect to a tcpip port. I know there are some wrappers around flash that give it the ability to connect directly to a serial port but i oculd not get my hands on any. You will not need comfoolery to test it if you don t have a brainstem/dsatx.
I have a small problem with this otherwise perfect skin, when i set rr to connect directly to the gps port(using xport 3 to split gps signal) it starts locking up and slowing down to a crawl, so slow i can t even exit it. I did remove the ziplocator.dll from rr's root folder as instructed but it still seems to behave this way no matter what i do. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks
Alex

Interesting, your specs appear more than sufficent to run it the way you say it's hooked up.
I's also using export and rr, no problems. (well, I do have the lag in speed readout as mentioned further up)

what port do you have rr reading from for gps?

actual gps is on port 3 and is split by xport 3 on ports 8 and 9. rr connects on 8. everything is speedy and working perfectly if i don t setup a gps port in rrconfig so specs should not be a problem at all. one thing i have not tried is to connect rr straight to the gps and not to xport, although that s not an option for me as i need igo readinig from the gps too

Sounds more like a RR problem and not so much a skin problem. Try posting on the RR sub forum.......

Huh?

It's not mine to need a mirror.

LiquidSmoke has said that he won't use mirrors as he (like I do for my stuff) wants to monitor the number of downloads.
