Lsx Void 3.0 - Page 170

Hi there, I'm having trouble embeding an application. I'm using lsx void 3.2 and I'm trying to embed my audio advantage control panel. I got it so it opens the program when I click the custom button in road runner but it doesn't embed. Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks

FEATURE REQUEST

Hi LS.

In many of the .skin files, the fonts are hardcoded instead of pointing to the one defined in LSXCOLOR.txt. Is there any chance it can be changed in the next version to point to the one defined in LSXCOLOR.txt? If not, can the hardcoded font be changed to Arial Unicode MS instead?

The reason is, for us Unicode users, non-Latin characters don't display correctly when using Arial (or Arial Black or Arial Narrow). And using Arial Unicode MS would be perfect because it comes with Windows and doesn't affect the current appearance.

what do you think i think its pretty cool i still have to get it working but it will add flair to lsx void!

this is on one of the 2 pages that don't have any thing on them

I have been using lsx void for a while now, but i notice something when browsing in the video player.

In RR i have the video folder pointing to: c:/videos

This is how i have my directory structure

C:\Videos
|
|__C:\Videos\Seinfeld
|__C:\Videos\Films

If i select to go into Films folder it works fine and displays all the movies in the film folder, but if i want to go back to the top of the directory (c:\videos) it wont let me, so i can only watch movies in the films folder. I tried using the browse button but keeps me in that folder.

If i restart roadrunner and browse videos it brings me back to c:\videos which it should, but as soon as i click one of the directories it doesn't let me go back.

Is there any way around this?

But, my video still works if i play a video. I am using the build in player and WMC. I am having a problem with the dvd also. When i select DVD i get a blank screen and my player goes into full screen, no sound nothing. If i browse for the dvd it brings me to my video directory (C:\Videos), but there is no opiton to browse drives ie. C:\,D:\,E:\ etc..

So, then i checked in the options to set the Media Paths and made sure all paths were correct as they were, but at the very end of this option where you can define the dvd drive letter, it displayed nothing. When i tried to edit to change to my dvd path letter it did nothing.

Any ideas? I know my codecs works as videos work fine, but looks like the dvd isn't pointing to the dvd drive.

this looks great! can you release it, with LSX's persmission ofcourse, please?
It will make a good addition to the skin.

Very nice skin the only thing missing is the music controls so you wouldn't have to change it, but very kool indeed.

which gps app are you running? Im certain the correct command isnt being sent from joypad, but this isnt joypads fault. Void probably has over half a dozen commands that will launch some version of the gps screen.
If your using IG3 or IG4 the command to use is "AP03"
If your using IG2 the command to use is "GPS1"
If your using Mapmonkey the command is "MMGPS"
If your using Freedrive the command is "FREEDRIVE"

why?

what menu do you see when you click the OPT button? If you see anything that does not this following list, then you have an old version of the skin.
General Options
Media Paths
Music
Video
GPS
Personalize
etc...

If you dont see this list, update the skin to the latest version.

humm, ill have to check and see which files may have the fonts still listed. They must be newer files as i remember painfully replacing all the fonts some time ago. Some fonts are required to be what they are specified as in teh .skin file, like the wingding fonts and the special lsxvoid font, these 2 are used for the play arrows and other special characters you see.
Ill do a once over and make sure none all the fonts are doing what they should be.

as for being stuck in any folder in the video browser.

Do you see two arrows (up/down) on your Browse button?

Ok, i see the problem. both the up and down arrows have the same command associated with the button.

Grap THIS file and unzip it into the skin, overwrite the old.

don't see a button play but a number

That was either a missing font issue or a non-eng version of windows issue. Can't rememebr. It's come up in this thread before. Do a search and it should show up.

The dvd problem is resolved. Don't know why it wasn't working, but after i reinstalled roadrunner and the skin it works fine.

In regards to the video browser i do see the (up/down arrows) on the browse button, but i think you are correct in saying they have the same command because they do the same thing.

I will try the fix and am pretty sure it will fix the problem.

Does anyone know how i could solve this problem.
I installed 3.3 and 3.301 over and over again and i still get the old options menu.
I can't turn ilists on.
I even tried to delete the whole skin and reinstalled it.
Same problem again.
Does it have something to do with Road Runner?

And another thing: is there an option to set the speed of the volumebuttons?
I tried to increase the repeat rate of the keyboard, but that didn't do it...

When i try to increase or decrease the volume now, it's going too slow...

Thanks. I understand about the Wingdings and LSX fonts bit, but they are in places where Unicode characters would never show anyway, so they are okay to stay what/where they are. But if you could replace all the Arial bits, it would be extremely lovely. Cheers.
