Problem solved I guess. The menu must be removed in the latest 3.3? I just Dl'd a fresh copy of void the other day, I was running the "old" 3.2 in the car up to today.........

the menu was not removed or changed in any of the versions. Sounds like you may have assigned the command for that button by mistake. If you click and hold on the button, a new screen with a bunch of buttons should show up, choose "MENU" from the available options. Other buttons on this screen also behave the same way.

kind of sounds like something odd with that specific pc, esp if you are able to install the same file on another pc. If you already have had 3.0 installed on the troubled machine, i would just copy the 3.2 install from a good machine over to the problem one.

i believe freefone may have been based on RRMobile, not 100% sure though. RRMobile will load RR when it starts also. If you click OPT>Phone Settings you can change which phone app loads. RRMobile is not supported by default though, so you would have to do some mods to get it to work. The reason RRMobile is not supported is because the author of the app has abandoned future development.

ive played with it a few times in the past, but its not really suitable for incar use. Reatime gps tracking on a google map is top priority though.

I have 2 requests.. I'm not sure if they're feasible or not but I thought I would at least ask.

1. Is there any way from the xplorer window to transfer from another drive besides the c drive? I have no optical drive so I usually just plug my jump drive in and transfer my new music. I would like to do this from the skin but I only have the option to transfer anything from the c drive.

2. This is probably a stretch.. but I use the color picker to use a color for my day skin and a theme for my night skin. I usually have to go through about 5 or 6 buttons to do this. Is there any way I could do a macro or something to simulate going through all of this with one button? It's not a big deal but I figured I would at least ask.

turns out i couldnt install ANY program. did a hard disk check, came out fine. turned out it was bad ram. go figure!

its not a new idea that going to a skin without an ilist avoids the ilist problem,
but lsx has the blackout skin (very simple skin) just sitting there so its a nice work around.

on my system it appears to 'just work' with no short glimpse of some random screen at resume.

i tried it out and it didnt work for me, then i realized there is a space between the load command and the skin name. it should read:

"ONSUSPEND","LOAD;blank.skin"
"ONRESUME","ESC"

that code should work for everyone now. by the way, im using blank.skin, not black.skin. i think blank is the one for blackout, whereas black just makes RR disappear or become transparent or something. anyhow, this patch works and now i can go into standby on any screen without worrying about my ilists messing up. woohhoo!

You were right about the drop down quick menu. I either changed it by accident, or something happened, dunno. Fixed.

I also checked for the clipping setting, but it was already enabled. Cycled it off, no difference. Turned it back on, and it worked. Must have not been written to the ini the first time for some reason. Meh, dunno.

But, new question:

When I embed my OBDII program (dashcommand), everything works fine until I try to navigate music or volume.What will happen is the embedded rogram will flash in and out during selections. IE: press FF and the embedded program disappears and reappears lng enough to see the underlying black screen where it would be embedded.

Is this a normal action or is something not set correctly in my config?

Native support for this program would be great, and at 20 bucks for a touch screen freindly OBDII program, you can't go very much wrong...........

ok i went into the gps and the compass was disabled. I enabled it and now there is a compass bar where the white spot use to be. I would just like to hav it with no compass and no white spot...like the screen shot on the first page. I updated flash player however I dont have Internet exporler installed, is that a problem?

ALSO ive seen people with differnt color compass' how do we change it from the blue to something else or see thru like ive seen aswell

I've converted my itunes library album art to jpg and am able to see the album art in the library now. However, the album art will not show up on the main screen when the song is playing, it just says no album artist, like the picture a few post up. I am also trying to get rid of this white bar still and have had no luck.

how is your library organized?

RR looks in the folder for music and then it displays the first image it sees. If the jpg is not in the folder with the song, it won't display it.

Oopps, spoke too soon.

Clipping is enabled, still have the "pink screen" when minimized...................All pink except for the void "double chevron" maximize button.

Ideas?

hey guys im curious
ive noticed that if i have a vidual on and switch to iguidance then close it and return to the music its super slow and rr reacts ALOT slower too, but if i stop the plugin then restart it everything is fine, ive made the visu process less info and everything cant seem to fix that, maybe the iguidance map is takeing alot of ram?
