If I may request a feature update, I ran across the weather videos and I was wanting to see if there was anything for around my area and there wasnt anything really, so I checked out accuweather and there was a long list of cities and a few pretty close to me, close enough to work. Anyway to use their videos?

LS, yea I was getting ready to put the old version back on (once I found a copy).
But it seems (so far it hasn't crashed) that RR added (or changed) how it handles the artist/title ID3 display. It has three options and it defaults to rolling...that caused crashes...the rolling and scrolling causes crashes...but so far the scroll itself does not cause a crash.
I assume that is it...I don't have a working copy of the older version of RR to check, but it is a selection at the bottom of the music section of RR config.

scrolling text has been in RR for as far as i can remember.
No text in the skin should scroll though, as it kills your cpu so i dont use it, not sure why u would see anything scrolling even with it set in rr.ini but i may be wrong. Not sure what the default option for this in rr config is but it could just be incompatible with your machine and u never knew it till u did a new install.
Did you use the installer to install RR or did you manually install? I know the installer sets some options that probably shouldn't be set to the values they are, that may be an issue also.
so everything is cool now ?

i believe the videos actually are from accuweather, even the google ones. If you check the google weather site, its prob updated with more cities since i added that feature, you can prob find a city close to you.
LSXCOLORS.txt is the file that you need to edit to change the url of the forcast video, but they must come from google (else you'll have to edit the .skin file and some other stuff to change that).
Go HERE to see a list of all the forcast videos.
The url for the videos looks like this below.
hxxp://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-1513940121655637936&hl=en
you only need the part in bold. When you look at the LSXCOLORS.txt file (bottom of file) you will see how it works, just edit the line that starts with
/DEFINE GOOGLEVIDEOWEATHER
to link to the video you want to use.

Nevermind...it wasn't the text scrolling (like you said)
I had to wipe out that RR install, and reinstall the older one.

As of this morning it appears to be broke.
You would normally be able to click on the LSX VOID image and get into the site.

not sure whats going on with that, looks like a botched server move. The site was being moved to another sever the past 2 days, so i guess they screwed it up.
looking into it now

Someone already had this issue. It had something to do with a patch. Search this thread to find the cure.
