LS, realistically when do you think you will make the release?
The reason I ask is because I reformated my drive last week and haven't installed the current version because I'm waiting for the next release.
Do you think I should wait or install the current version?

Older versions i think by default showed the album art etc on the main menu, the current ver is blank, this was actually a mistake cuz the blank version is the one i personally use, just forgot to set the default back before i released.
Let me know if you have any issues getting the main menu u want.

The "hold and preview" function is great!!

honestly its really up to you and how much pacience you have. Also, releases only happen on sunday so thats something to think about. Personally i would of reinstalled the current version right after the format

Something is allways better than nothing.

The only thing left on my plate is to squash bugs, all features are in, all the graphics have been updated/converted etc. There are just a few small bugs and one big bug that i have to fix before release to the wild.

Things standing in the way are:
1: Time, never is enough of it.
2: I just sent my laptop off today back to dell to get the lcd replaced

So ill be without my main dev computer for a few days, hopefully ill have it back before the week is out. I transfered my entire RR dir over to my girls laptop so hopefully ill be able to get some time in here and there, mostly at night.

So as soon as the major bugs are gone, there will be a small, very short beta, and if no show stoppers. Release.

2.02 is very nice as it is right now!

People should have no problem waiting for 3.0 with such an excellent previous version available.

hey ls. 2 things.

1. and most important. theres a meet at the woods this sunday. your invited as always. we will be there from noon till the park closes. check the chicago thread if you need directions to busse woods. so now that my personal invitation is sent.....

2. Just got an email frim inavcorp. version IG4 is releasing next week. not sure what the differences are from 3, or if youll be getting it or supporting it, but giving you a heads up. i believe its $79 for existing users to uprgrade.

IG4 already, ha well if it was anything like the IG3 update (which didnt include much) ill probably pass. They really need to start addressing long term issues and start thinking about realtime traffic updates, otherwise ill likely stick with 3 unless there are some major new features which i doubt, but ill try to be optimistic.

my cars going into the shop, so ill have a rental likely for a week

so no carputer. Are the meets still in shaumberg?

I know I should have brought this up a long time ago but is there a delete function. Say I'm listening to a song and I don't like it anymore and want to delete it. Is there any way to get a delete button that can be swapped into the audio screen?

but haven't gotten it to work with LSX 2 and was wondering if something like this would work with LSX 3?

yeah, I would say both. I have a lot of music that my girlfriend puts on the carpc, and there's some crap that I want nothing to do with.

YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! I didn't think you would have time to get this into the latest skin. I really appreciate it.

Delete, FOREVER....I put a whole bunch of music on my HD and I weed out the crappy songs while I'm driving and listening to them.
