About the Weather screen and the "o" sign.
If the symbol comes from the server - there is nothing to do with the problem. But if it comes from the skin, then the symbol can be changed to 00B0 (code), if you with your regional settings can see this correctly: "°".

oh, almost forgot

When I try to integrate something to a FREE** item, I stumple upon a problem: I can't locate an executable by browsing my disks. To be more exact, it doesn't let me choose any executable at all... it does not see any of them... only folders. I watched your video 3 times and did everything as it is shown there...

the default font is Arial Rounded, Arial Bold is a good choice also (the old default). Not sure why you would see boxes with the other.

Glad you see a speed increase.

Not sure what can be done about the ? for the degrees in Weather. There was a thread addressing this issue but i didnt read into it much at all as i never had the issue. If you cant fix it, i would just delete that symbol altogether.

i'm on the issue.. will be solved (with a few other tidbits) early next week

. I didnt update the documentation yet as i'm leavin work but u can download the new version at www.sonicxtacy.com/ratingssetup.rar . if you dont have road runner in the default location you need to open up ratingsconfig.ini and enter the path to rr.ini in RRINIPATH=

add .exe to your supported file types under audio in RRConfig.exe, then you will see .exe files when you browse to them.

Forgot to mention that small detail in the readme, but i added it to the first post yesterday.

It seems good for the desktop, but a lot smaller than RRConfig and is prob a pain to use in the car. Still better than nothing though. I guess the size of ui items is a restriction of windows ui controls.

Its prety old. well over a year old. the guy that was working on it left the forum shortly after it came out.
it's layout is prety crap and i still use the standard config for everything else.

Have you tried to use the settings in it to see what im talking about with the grey box?
i will try it agian on a different pc to see if it does the same thing.

it was happening every time on the car pc.
but on this pc it only happened once.. ??

for the Streets and Trips 2007 add on. It works great. I'm a newb but this was easy to add and use.

have no idea what that is, never seen that before. I know there is a whitebox issue people were having on the gps screens but isnt related to any individual skin. What is the text in the black box inside the grey box?

EDIT:just read your other post, is the grey box related to using that other config editor? What option did you turn on ?

yes, but currently right now you have to set it all up your self.

There is a button in custom command list reserved for google earth.

I have a little time tonite so i may make an addon to enable it. Depends on how long it takes to set it up.

the text in the black box looks like the buttons in the playlist skin

the settings i used was just to have ti auto change the skin at a certain time, i didn't have the auto gamma on.

Hey LS, Man this skin is Bangin'! Love the day skin and the built in options screens that make it easier to change on the fly. Special thanks for adding emulator support, the only problem is getting it fullscreen. Is there anyway to hide music buttons like gps screen does? I never wrote a script so i dont know how hard that would be. Or would just running it as external app solve the problem. Ill play with it some more......oh and i could of sworn you made a skin for the emulator...no?

I skipped some pages here so it may have been brought up already. But I downloaded 2.00 and now 2.01 and the install just hangs on my machine. For both of them. 5 minutes so far of doing nothing. I tried 2.00 then deleted it and downloaded 2.01 i get the same thing. Here is the pic of where it hangs.

By the way i like the install program. More profesional then a zip or rar file.....Next will be auto skin updater for lsxvoid.

i plan on redoing the skin for the emu, its still the old lsx style, im not even sure if its still linked anywhere, most likely the LS3.0 thread or LSX thread. Its super easy to do so soon as i get an extra minute ill knock it out.

doing it fullscreen may be a good option also,

ha, ive actually thought about an auto updater.

What machine are you running (sorry i have to ask), nothing special like nlite or anything right?

Im not sure why the installer would hang, only one other person was having issues with the installer and that was under Vista.

If i have to i can make a manual installer for you or anyone else that may have this problem in the future.
