Oh, well if that's the case then I'd rather just figure out why it's not displaying my album art from the .jpg files.

Sonic,
Ok here's the latest. I'm seeing SOME album art. The problem is the album art showing to the left of the Album tracks (see screenshot below) is not the art for that album. It's the art for the album I was playing before that. (The error message in the screenshot is related the the 2nd issue outlined in the next paragraph.)
2nd issue: when I go into Search in the audio module, I searched for an Artist and the error message in the screenshot is what came up.

Sonic - FYI, exiting and restarting RR and then going into the Audio module, will then show the correct album art.

Sonic, I'm really sorry to bombard you with so many questions (I really am trying to put your skin through the wringers to help you though!!) but, which version of Winamp do you use and recommend?
Thanks.

Sonic,
See the latest screenshot.
Two things: 1. the tracks are being listed alphabetically instead of track order. Does your skin read the tags for track number? What settings do I need to have set in the "ID3" section of RRConfig.exe, or does your skin supersede these settings?
2. What's with the funny characters in the first track in the screenshot? EDIT - SEE SCREENSHOT IN NEXT POST... sorry.
Thanks!

Thats strange... can you check in rr config to see if you have lazytag checked? Check to see if your settings match this
also make sure you're running an up to date version of roadRunner.exe The newest version is 12/6 available on guino's website. If you press the list up or list down button do you see the album art move with the list? An older version of roadRunner.exe hadda bug preventing this. Also, please go up to post #72 and answer those questions pertaining to this.

This is my fault.. the search feature requires activewinamp to be installed and winamps media library to have your media folders scanned and up to date. Information on how to set this up is in this thread

my skin doesnt read the ID3's track number.. it just formulates the list based on the info available in RR's hidden playlist. If there's a way to change the order it would have to be done somewhere in road runner itself and not my skin. I've never really paid attention to the track order so i dont know how.
As for the funny characters i couldnt tell you what that is but again its not skin specific. More than likely the ID3 information for that track uses UNICODE characters that get scrambled in rr. Press one of the album art images on the side of the playlist and see if it corrects itself just in case.

Ok, I've updated to 5.13. Just want to make sure we're as consistent as possible in what we're using.

My setting did not match yours. I've matched them to your settings now, and unfortunately, I have the same behavior.

Definitely on the latest version.

Not sure what you mean by "move with the list" but if you mean does the single album art next to each song move along with the upscroll of the song, then yes, it does.

Oh yeah, sorry:
"You dont see album art in the top left corner on the main skin OR behind the playlist in the audio skin?"
No.
"Do you see pictures on the PICS skin?"
Yes, I am able to browse my photos in the Pictures module.

Great, problem fixed. However, I still encounter the problem where the album art remains the art from the prior album when pulling up an album that I've searched on.

Pressing the album art image does not correct it unfortunately.

Sonic, two questions about your skin:
1. Can gestures be used in your skin?
2. Is the TV Cast module the OrbTS plugin?

Ya, I discovered that trick and it doesn't work for whatever reason.

are you talkin about the main album art that sits behind the playlist or the track art thats beside the playlist. i doubt the track art will ever support embedded images.
