Not really.

Ideally I would like to have a full screen map, and when you press on the map the side menu comes up (instead of the one that FD gives you) but unfortunately although CdR has added an extra command that does something similar the menu appears over the map, I would like it to alos resize to a window like the picture above and the menu to go down the side.

anyway will keep tweaking and testing.

@btbe have you made any additions to the current skin?

Enforcer cant you make 2 RR skins, and capture the command from FD map click and make RR switch to another .skin file with menu and smaller APP area?

Tried this, but the map disappeared, even when I put the 'clip' in.

I think is more a problem with FD.

CdR has added a switch/command to his sdk that allows you to go to a RR skin instead of a Destinator menu when you press on the map.

so normally if I wanted to open fd in another menu I would have a command like

"LOAD;gps-full.skin;FreeDrive;c:\program files\FreeDrive\FreeDrive.exe;FreeDrive",""

which loads the next skin (gsp-full.skin) and loads FD which then goes into the nice little 'A' box.

but as RR is not controlling the loading of the skin and hence the loading of the app I can't put the above command in.

these are the lines I have put in the 'called' RR skin FDMENU.skin

A01,0,42,800,514,192,192,192
C01,0,42,800,514,192,192,192

I thinnk I know what it is.... CDR made it so that FD runs a RR "MENU" command and that is why it is vanishing I think!

Thing is bo96 had the same problem, but he fixed his by putting the clip in, doesn't work for me though

the reason why fd is disappearing is because when you switch from the gps_external skin to another RR auto hides it. you could try doing this two ways..

1st add SHOWWINDOW;FreeDrive;True
or
2nd add SendMSG;FreeDrive;SHOW

both should work
