DMurray has added SIRUS support to his copy, XM should be exactly the same, just need to swap SR commands for XM commands, I just waiting for his skin file.

Otherwise I will have to 'guess' it a bit without being able to test.

Find attached the Sirius skin file. Keep in mind I have not yet had time to implement the favorites, etc, but this should give you impatient guys something to work with

Ok great Dan.

I see you've just used the Audio_player jpegs.

I'll create some without the 1234 etc.

and add this to the next release.

That's just a conceptish at the moment. I'm going to have to redo every JPEG now and relayout every skin file. Should be available over the weekend or Monday.

iGuidance will only have basic support, ie it will load but it won't have any buttons to control it. It have been promised an evaluation copy, so I might be able to integrate for future releases.

Also looking into maybe having a night version, as I find this too bright in the evenings.

Just got to get the colours right

The night skin will have the colours to match the BMW night time interior, gamma control will just dim the screen, not change the colours

Expect XM (untested) in the next issue, thanks to DMurray providing a working SIRIUS .skin (They're both the same just have to swap SR's for XM's). Although the favourites haven't been done.

Once I get feedback on how they work I can then tweak and add the extra features.

True. But you don't have have to use the auto dim function. You can have the program fade the screen to a darker brightness when you're driving and not using the touchscreen.

well, that's the plan.

Actually could you do me a favour?

When you are in your car can you pull up a paint package (PSP, photoshop,MSpaint) and see if you can get the RGB of the OBC characters and background.

You need to do it on your Carputer screen, just do a compare by eye.

cheers
