Thanks for clearing that up.
Great work. I am really beginning to see how much time and work goes into making these Skins, PSD's and all. Much appreciated to all!
Actually I have taken that on board and moved the Weather to the Climate screen from the Communications screen, as it seems more appropriate.
It'll be in the next release.

Not at the moment, I'm still working on incorporating more things, like maybe lostreceptions draw, chucks calender maybe, and that vehicle maintenance program being developed I spotted. Plus the other GPS's like mappoint iGuidance streets and trips etc.
Also going to reaarange the top info line.
Plus add the configurator screen.
BTW have you seen the 'about' screen under settings?

That's what I meant by Car Data comming soon. I saw opportunity.
Yeah, I just saw it. Nice add...
I've been meaning to ask, what's that touching just above the scrolling Trackname takes you to the audio browser...because it doesn't work for me.
It's pretty tricky getting those backgorunds exactly the same...I've worked on the main menu background a bit, and I'm almost there.

it's a very thin line, so it can be a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately you can't have a button over (or under) scrolling text. if the text was stationary then I could make the button area bigger.

I can imagine.
I think in version 12.1 I might have had the chance to learn flash and then I can put some moving backgrounds in

I have no idea.
but looking at the pictures that Dmurray posted it has that kind of effect.
And I think it would be nice. But hey, that's a long way off yet.

Opinion needed guys.
Just playing with the info on the top line.
What do peeps think about this compared to the original.
Phone is a button to bring up phoco.
GPS location is scrolling left, like the song title at bottom.
and the speed is next to the eh erm speedo.

Nice! I like it. Just find another icon for the phone...that one just doesn't quite seem to fit very well in the over all theme...

Mappoint almost done.
Although in my opinion it seems very clunky to use.

yea, it is. I suspect that alot of people here have access to MSDN subscriptions. Also, as far as I know it doesn't speak...I love your skin man, it is just the best for me to use. I have one question for you, I read this entire thread and didn't find the answer although the instructions for making iGuidance full screen was something I was looking for. Anyway, how do I change the location for the weather reports...mine is currently on Lexington KY, and san antonio, tx is some distance from there. One other thing is that sometimes when I exit RR and restart I'm back on the default skin.....any ideas? Well, I guess that's two questions....ummm one more question? Is there anyway to make RR default to full screen for iGuidance? I would like it to if it can be done.
Thank you for this great skin!

That's set up in the RR.ini

That info should be stored in resume.ini every time you exit RR. There might be a setting somewhere in rr.ini or you have a corrupt resume.ini, try deleteing it and restarting RR

try swapping the filenames of gps-full.skin and external_gps.skin around
the only problem would be you wouldn't be able to get the non full-screen version.

As others have stated, very nice skin. This is just what I was looking for to complete my CarPC install in my BMW. I am looking forward to the additional functionality and the new backgrounds, especially the main screen with the addition of the arrows. I have two questions/comments:
1. Like somebody else posted above, my weather screen defaults to Lexington, KY. I went into the RR.ini file and I couldn't find any obvious setting to change the location. I did find a "locale" command line that was originally set to 0. I put in a few other numbers to see if it would change anything but it didn't. Could you provide some mroe info here on how to change this?
2. As I was browsing through the various screens you have added, I noticed that you don't have a home button to get back to the main menu. I like the back button in the lower left corner, but I think the addition of a home button on the other screens would be a nice additional touch for functionality.
As always, keep up the good work and I look forward to future releases!

1. Weather, as per the author

cityweather=Los Angeles, CA
weatherunits=USA
or
cityweather=Amsterdam, Netherlands
weatherunits=WORLD
I can't guarantee coverage for the entire world...
You will also need the weather.zip file, read this thread
2. Will look into that.
