Chill E., I wouldn't like it if it were in anyway different.

Might do a more touch screen friendly version (read : one for those of you with short sight and fat fingers) where I take out on of the sside buttons and increase the size of the top and bottom info bars

NO. One of the reasons I like this so much it's beacuse it doesn't have big buttons.

Hey, I don't have short sight and fat fingers...

What were you thinking of for the Car Data button? I just ordered the Car Pal Bluetooth OBD II scan tool I plan to incorporate into my CarPC.

Firstly the Car data was on the original skin by BTBE and has the Car PC info inside at present (ie gives you free mem cpu usage and temperatures (if you have MBM5 installed)) plus a strange HiFi screen which I'm not sure works to well.

However if someone comes up with an OBD plugin or program that can be skinned I would like to add that.

plus Lost reception is doing a vehicle maintenance program, so when that's complete I might look at incorporating that.

I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Would be cool if we could make the maintenence program look like the one that's built in to the real iDrive...I'll get pics/video...

the main thing I would need, is way to control the buttons from RR. IE if the flash can receive 'sendkeys'.

Then the display part of the app can run in a normal app box and the buttons be down the LHS.

Indeed, unfortunately I need a copy really to test out the different methods of embedding. An evaluation copy would be enough.

Trying my hand at making a VB6 app skinable.

Basically it's my forthcoming config program for the skin.

previously seen in this post

Here you can see it embedded in RR.

Basically it will allow you to set the GPS so the info bar at the top uses the correct GPS program, and you can remove from the menus the apps you don't have

eg if you don't have Phone Control, just uncheck in this screen and it removes the button from the communication screen.

Very cool!
I am looking forward to this capability. My machine should be back in my machine by the end of this weekend.

Do you have plans for an XM skin? Or is it already capable of that support?
