LS,

This is where its hard to ask for anything when your work is so damn good - but I would not mind seeing some new variations to the Vol Progress and Track Progress as well "if possible".... The other thing since you are making perhaps new backgrounds - I have no need for battery/or signal (not sure if I am alone on this but I suppose anyone not using cell (or able to) is in the same boat... I could use those spots for other buttons or indicators...

Both of these clearly I (we could do solo) but wanted to toss them out there if its not too much trouble with your art efforts -- I DO LIKE the lighter flavor!!!!

yeah, i really dont like them anymore either. They prob are the only last elements from lsx skin. The deal is, its a pain in the *** to make sliders and i hate doing them, even though ive been wanting to make new ones for a long time. The thing about it i hate is that the sliders are 21 images each slider and to update both would be 42 images i have to save out one by one. I hate super repetitive stuff like that, drives me nuts. The sliders should really only be 2-3 images max, wold be much easier.

I even have new graphics for the sliders for months now, lol
I guess ill have to breakdown and save the files out.

as for RRMobile, it dosnt fully function yet and im not gonna touch it till it fully works. I dont want to have to change stuff over and over in the meantime till its a full release and working. Just want to do it and be done with it.

yeah, i understand that. Putting those in the actual image files was a mistake i made early on, and even though i knew i shouldnt have done it that way, i still did it. This goes back to those damn sliders. I didnt want to have to update the sliders for the bat and signal. I dont use phoco in the car either, never did so im in the same boat as you, lol.
Also, those items are on almost every screen in the skin, and if you cant tell by now, i hate saving a lot of files one by one at once. For some reason it just gets under my skin, lol, no pun intended.

I also want to update the online indicator, i think its ugly and it really bothers me everytime i see it, more so than any of the other stuff (sliders etc) so thats one thing im def gonna change and while im at it i might as well deal with those bat/signal meters and the vol/track sliders.

it'll prob be another week before i release anything, need a break.

the day image is very early, rough pass. Im not sure how i feel about it all yet. So a lot will likely change before im happy with it.

as for art rage, im just gonna post a .skin file for people to overwrite with. Havnt figured out where u turn off the splash yet, maybe its only in the free version you see the spalsh. Ill see if i can find out though.

oh, that stuff.
That stuff is covered up on purpose, esp if your using IG3.
The reason being, since everything is bigger in IG3 now, you need a little more height to display everything properly. This keeps the position icon from being under the zoom status.
also, all that info is now useless if you use IG3.
You dont need the time cause its in IG3 now and you can actually see it
The fullscreen button has been moved inside of the flyout buttons.
That leaves only the online indicator and phone meters, both of which arent important in GPS.

So nothing is wrong with your set up.

ill update the screenshots on the first page so no one else is confused

i was wondering if you would take a look @ Oziexplorer and see how hard it would be to include a skin for it in your next release.

It's been said over and over but this skin

and I would like to use Ozi with it but I wouldn't know where to start to implement it.

small progress pic
the top bar is getting a facelift, the phoco signal and battery will nolonger be present if you dont use phoco. Newer ish online indicator, still may change that.
still trying to avoid redoing the volume/track slider from scratch, so i recolored the trackslider from green to red, havnt touched the other one yet.

I'm having some trouble with the GPS. I can get iGuidance to detect my gps adapter, but when I go into RR iGuidance doesn't load the GPS adapter.

Looking great LS!! I love the day version and the updates to the top bar and sliders. I was wondering on the main screen how come ou have 2 sliders and 2 tracktimes? Bogs down my via bad..

this really isnt an issue that has anything to do with skins, but...

If you have RR set to read your gps port (in RRConfig.exe) then you will need a port splitter to so that RR and IG can read your gps device. Likely RR is grabing the only free port you have thus not making it free for IG to use.

Do a search for XPORT on this site.

it is a tad redundant but (they both were added way after the fact) one is astetics and the other is more functional.
My eyes tend to fall in the center of the screen first.

If its bogging down your system (are you sure its those items?) you can just remove them.

The track time that is in the middle is a label

edit the above line so its just like this below to remove the tracktime

delete this whole line above.

i may take a look at these items as a whole, and may make changes to the default. Maybe not, depends.
What i would do is probably get rid of the volume slider on the bottom left, i find it easier to just use the two buttons, but the vollume buttons arent on every screen while the sliders are. I do think it would look cool if it were just one track slider across the whole bottom. But its likely i wont be able to do that because of that.

I can prob take the track time on the bottom right and put it in the middle are next to the bitrate and remove it from the tagtitle. That way it'll be easier to see too.

I dont know, i'll play with it and see what i come up with. No promises though.
