I remapped my Raidio for GE and plan on removing the Phone button (never could really get it to work - too slow) So I have some screen room to play with.
I'm fairly new @ the skinning business but will to learn.
Thanks !
I have been wondering if something like this would be possible as well. Could you use Girder to accomplish this? Instead of the FF/Rew buttons sending the command to Roadrunner, they send a keystroke to Girder. Then Girder, depending on which commands are activated can send the appropriate command back to Roadrunner. I am not sure if this is possible because I just started looking at Girder recently. However, it appears that you can make groups of commands active and inactive within Girder. Therefore, whichever button activates XM on the skin could also send a key to Girder activating the XM commands and deactivating the music commands.
Would this work?

I downloaded the PSD's and removed the buttons that I wasn't using. Then I just figured out that the Channel up / Channel Down buttons were and in the Sirius skin and used the skin editor to duplicate some button fields and assigned them the NEXT and PREV commands and it changes just fine. I went as far as to create an internet connection / disconnect button set. Worked out ok. I would like to be able to create a channel list so that when you press chan up or chan down it will just change the channel to what is on the list. Any thoughts ?

Version 2.0 is released!
Ok, 2.0 was just uploaded. It sports a new main menu. If you prefer the original main menu, you can back up your directory, and then copy the menu files to the new install. You can also use either the new clock or the old clock. Full instructions on how to do this are in the help file.
I also had to redo all of the car logo's that go in the background of the clock to make them transparent. The link is in the 2nd post to the new car logo's. You can make ANY logo you want to display in the background of the clock, as it is just a png file in the Blue Devil Folder.
The gas screen now supports navigating to a selected gas station with iGuidance! Thanks to SonicExtasy for writing a great little script to acomplish this. If you are using the reshacked iGuidance, it is set up to work already. If you are not, you will need to reshack your copy of iGuidance to add navigating by coordinates to make this work.
This was one of the most time consuming updates since the first release! I hope you guys like it!

Awesome work. Looks really good. I'm have some questions though:
1) In the iG screen, what does the thought-bubble button (2nd up on right) and the TaskBar button do? (nothing on my system from what I can tell).
2) I'm not sure anything in the auto-config menu is working right. Do I have to install something seperatly? Very cool integration though!
3) On Gas Prices, I'm still waiting for "Show Map" to do something (preferably auto-enter the route in iG).
4) RR Config doesn't seem to load.
5) Image Viewer has some error.
Looks really good though, thanks!

John,
It looks like the same menu to me. Also, the XM issue we talked about a couple of posts ago is still happening. I double checked that I have the 11/22 version. It could be that I'm just an idiot an am doing something wrong, but are you sure you uploaded the right files?

RPM,
When pressed, the thought bubble will repeat the last voice instruction given by IG.
The taskbar button is to keep the taskbar from popping up when unwanted.

I experimented a bit. If you go into launch.skin and change "Close" to "Next" then hitting the close button will toggle between the open programs without closing them. Maybe in a future release John can add a "Next" button to the skin so people can choose to toggle by hitting "Next" or close by hitting "Close."

1. Already answereed see above.
2. It should install when you install BD. do you have the newest version of RR?
3. Show map does auto enter route, at least for me it does
4. RR Config not loading... odd, have you tried a reboot and see if that helps?
5. What error? any message?
And John, as we spent many a hours working on this release i am very happy it is done good work i love it!

Sangre,
Thanks for pointing out that you're helping with the development. Props also to you on this great skin!
As I said in my post above, I don't see the menu changes in the new version. Can you double check that the posted version is correct. It could be that I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what it would be.

You are correct, something is wrong with the files. I am getting ahold of John as i type this. I am leaving in 2 hours for NY for thanksgiving and i want the new verison, not our test version (which i accidentally. overwrote with this new install). so i hope we get it fixed by then.
Edit-Nothing seems to be working now.. even the showMap functionality.. trying to fix.-/Edit

I asked this over in the Gas Finder thread and was told to check with John so I am posting it here for him..
Original Post:
Ok If this has been coverd I apologize, been reading so many threads setting up my pc hard to compute so much sometimes
I got roadrunner installed, I installed Blue Devil, and the patch for iGuidance. I downloaded your gas finder, extracted the gasNav folder into the root of roadrunner (c:\program files\road runner) I then added "GASNAV","GPS" to the execTbl.ini file in c:\program files\road runner .. Now when I go to the gas page i can enter my zip and it pulls up the gas stations however when I try to click the show map it does nothing.. Do I still need to edit the gas_PRICEFINDER.skin file of blue devil?? it sounded like alot of that was already included.. (BTW it did the same thing before extracting the gasNav folder) Thanks !!

Version 2.0 corrected.
SangreDeThor just called me on the phone and let me know what was going on. Ok the CORRECT version is up now. Sorry about the mixup. I usually do most of the updates on a live working version here, but with the menu's changing this time around I did it a bid differently, and didnt completely merge the changes with the old one when I zip'd it up.
Let me know if there are any other ussies, and I will jump on em' right away.
