John,
Did you do something different with the zip file? The program that I have used to unzip all previous versions didn't work. I then downloaded and installed a different zip program and it threw errors.

1) In the iG screen, what does the thought-bubble button (2nd up on right) and the TaskBar button do? (nothing on my system from what I can tell).
2) I'm not sure anything in the auto-config menu is working right. Do I have to install something seperatly? Very cool integration though!
3) On Gas Prices, I'm still waiting for "Show Map" to do something (preferably auto-enter the route in iG).
4) RR Config doesn't seem to load.
5) Image Viewer has some error.
1) That repeats the last iGuidance command
2) No, everything needed is on place for this to work. You need to set your volume levels for this to work correctly. Check THIS POST for more information.
3) The newer version was not uploaded correctly, grab the new version. Everything that is needed to work is set up in the skin.
4) Just fixed this one. Funny, it works in my car, and not on the desktop. It will be in the next release, or you can change the button yourself in the settings.skin file to:
""LOAD;SOLITAIRE.skin||RUN;C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RRConfig.exe;RRConfig""

No, it is just a standard .zip file created with WinZip. It should work on ANY computer. I have had no reports from anyone else about the format of the zip file, so I am not sure the problem you are having.

Nevermind. I redownloaded and it unzipped fine. Apparently the first D/L didn't complete properly - probably because everyone was grabbing it at the same time.

Thanks for jumping on this so quickly, guys, so we can enjoy it over the holidays.
The new menu skin looks great (although you know what I'm going to ask you to do next, John, ). You guys really went above and beyond in redesigning all the logos. In terms of operation I do note that XM is still hanging when going into music. I'll test all the other stuff in the next couple of days.
Thanks once again for all the hard work. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Audio Issue

That is something that didnt make it from the test directory to the release.... I simply forgot to copy that change over. You can easily fix it with a text editor. Open the Menu.skin file in a text editor, and change the button code for the MUSIC button to simply "Audio".

Can you test your skin at 800*480 and tell me if the mastermute icon changes when you click it?

Posted this in the wrong thread as it's a skin issue
Just installed the very latest Blue Devil skin and tested the Gas Price screen - I'm having the same problem in that when the gaspricefinder skin opens it doesn't populate with gas stations - I have to manually enter the zip code into the screen to get it to work.
I double checked that I have the reshacked IG3.

I just switched to 800 x 480 in the general.ini and the mute indicators appear to be working on all the screens. Does it work for you at one resolution, and not another??

Dude! I am sooooo sorry to tell you this, but this again is the wrong thread! LOL! hehehehe This does not appear to be something with the skin, as I have the same issed with the BMV2 skin when I try it in there. I have 6 Sats locked here on the home PC, and still have to put the zipcode in manually to get anything.
Try posting in the Gas Price Finder thread, as that seems to be a problem that others are having as well.
Just to note, iGuidance does not have to be ResHacked to get the gas skin to show properly. Just without it reshacked it, when you press the MAP IT button, all that will happen is iG will load up at the menu, and just stop there without entering an coordinates ect for you.
On another note.....
I haven't heard any real feedback on the look of the new menu & Clock, either good or bad. What do you guys think?

MasterMute - no, it doesn't show the 'ON' version at all - my natice res is 800*480 but I did try 800*600 but that didn't show it either. I don't think it's a skin issue as all you do is call MasterMute.
That Gas thing is weird - I added the following to your gaspricefinder skin to show me what the Lat and Lon of the current position is and it works perfectly so it's whatever code searches the Zipcode database that is screwy. Be glad when we track this one down
L,270,504,80,10,255,255,255,9,"Arial","=Longitude: ",
L,440,504,80,10,255,255,255,9,"Arial","=Latitude:" ,
L,350,504,80,10,255,255,255,9,"Arial","GPSLON",
L,500,504,80,10,255,255,255,9,"Arial","GPSLAT",

John,
I was able to spend a couple of hours with it this afternoon (in traffic again). I like the new look and having all the info on the one screen. I also love the new Acura logo you did.
FYI, my menu #1 does not display either the speed or the altitude. Menu #2 displays the speed but not the altitude. I know RR is getting the GPS info because the compass is properly working in both menus and speed is properly working in Menu #2.
Even with a totally fresh install I still can't get the IG auto change to work and the open playlist still flashes on the screen when I load the browser. Since nobody else seems to be having these problems I'll have to keep playing with it. Neither issue is really a big deal to me.
Substituting "Next" for "Close" in launch.skin solved my problem with closing embedded programs. It's a little awkward because every time I want to switch to another program I have to hit close, which brings up the embedded program list, and then highlight the program I want to go to and hit run to get to it. The important thing, though, is that I'm now switching between running programs rather than closing and opening them each time. It would be more elegant to be able to just scroll through the open programs, but it's working for me and that's what counts.
Have I mentioned lately that I really like this skin?
