Hi,
As I said before -- wonderful looking skin!.
I do have a problem though.... Pressing the "Menu" button switches to the 2nd menu screen (good) -- but the flash compass animation starts spinning (bad) and none of the buttons work any longer (very bad). I have followed the FAQ and installed flash 8 (over the flash 9 install). Is this a problem with the via mini boards (I have a jetway board)?
Thanks again for the great looking skin, keep it up.
Nasa

Nice, John! Works great for me.
By the way, what does adding the window name "!Winamp Gen! AVS" to rrconfig accomplish? The viz works just fine with "Milkdrop" shown in the window name box.
Also, users should know that this replaces Milkdrop. Switching to Milkdrop is not just a matter of selecting it in RRConfig. I love Milkdrop but need to disable scrolling of titles in order to get it to perform smoothly and I'm not sure I want to do that. This viz is a good compromise.

I hear you. The grey version is using different art but John's code to drive the screens. I am looking forward to adding some new stuff to the skin I am working on.

Maybe giving up might work? at least for a bit until the next major verison, or you can be content with an old version of the skin , John spends a lot of time on this so in order to keep up you will need to spend a looooot of time also
whatever you choose good luck
hehheh

Some of the new features in the Blue Devil skin REQUIRE the 11/25/06 or later version of Road Runner to work. You can download the latest version which is Road Runner 11/25/06
How come you have version 11/25/06 for download when officially the latest version is still 11/12/06 ????

When you release an update can you list the files that have changed from the previous version. I expect lot's of us mod the skins for our own purposes and so need to weed out the ones that have changed and put them across into the skin and modify again where necessary. That would be a great help
Awesome work by the way, I hope a few people are dropping you a few bucks on PayPal - if we had to buy quality like this it would be $99.95 in the store
I'll send you some more when we get the TrafficDetails skin (they tell me that bribary works hahaha)

I am not sure what is causing this, but I just tested all the buttons and compass on the 2nd menu screen and they appear to be workinf correctly here. Anyone else seeing this problem?

heheh I downloaded the traffic info, and just have not gotten around to adding it all in yet. Hopefully I can get a chance to do this here in the near future.
I have TRIED to do something like that without having to list each and every .jpg and .skin file. If you look at the revision history (2.1) in this case, it mentions changing the Setting skin, and the Audio Player skin ect. Also if you look at the help file, under revision history, it mentions what was done in each and every update since the very beginning.

That is correct. This was necessary to do this to stop other audio from playing, such as satellite radio, when entering the music screen. Road Runner is set when it goes to that screen to switch the audio to Winamp. Going to another custom skin/screen does not do this.
Ok, this is WAY off topic I never intended to imply that Rod Stewart is the Antichrist! Hehehehe look a page back at the post number for the new Audio EQ spectrum thingy. Someone with a good eye, or way too much time on their hands PM'd me about that hehehehehe

So that means, it will always go to that screen first and then we'll have to switch it to the player screen ?
Another thing, IG theme does NOT work for me . I put the ini file in IGuidance folder but nothing happens. Do I need to do any other configuration for IG3 to see that file ?

so the theme.ini is in iG root? make sure the color settings are yellow, and that its set to day mode and not night or auto.

I have this problem also on my test machine. I'm thinking it is flash related somehow. I have looked at both my carpc and test pc and both have the same version of Flash installed.
Gonna keep trouble shooting to see if I can find the cause. BTW, my test pc is only 800mhz and my car pc is 2.4 P4. Not sure if that is causeing it, but I did not have trouble with previous releases of this skin.

John,
I have now installed the update on my carputer and it works perfectly. This skin just keeps getting better and better. Thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of the forum. I have sent an additional donation.
