Thats because the new RR beta has built in code to remove the titlebar/borders from iGuidance. There is no need for iGlaunch or other external apps to do this.

9/5 is an older beta, there is a newer beta that fixes the left of iGuidance being cut off. Go to RRDownloads for the latest beta.

Simon123 Yea, seems you figgured it out, but a note to others, I had the screen size set to 1024 x 768, as that is the resolution I am running in the car. This can be changed in the general.ini in the blue devil skin folder.

That was it, thanks man... While I'm here, I really want to do the reshacker mod on my IG but I've been reluctant to start without a specific look to achieve. Your skin is going to be my primary skin for a while, do you have the file of the hacks you did to make the IG menus integrate with the look of blue devil?

Yeah, you need to PM JustInTime and get him to make you an iG patch for your iG skin like he did for his Nexus iG skin. Is this in progress?

If you do that, consider making the white background that light blue color from the text on the buttons, that would really look slick.

One more request.

On the main player screen would it be possible to have a list of the songs instead of the oscilloscope?

Under way at the moment... I just have to finish a couple of the iG buttons to complete it, then will turn over to HustInTime, and hopefully he will be willing to do the hack for us.

That screen is basically the "visual" screen, and is intended just for the album art & visulizations. Now has the added option of having your GPS app embed into that area of the oscilliscope as well.
I have added a HIDDEN minize button to the top right of the screen. It will be in the next release. In the mean time, you can open up the menu.skin and menu2.skin and add the following line in the buttons section:

The song list, for Cue'd songs is on the "Playlist" screen, and the browser screen is for selecting music from your library. Those 2 are the standard ones, I just added a "player" screen to have a large visulization/eye candy to look at while music is playing, and is not really even required.

On another note

LostReception just created a QWERTY Keyboard to replace the stupid Alphabetical one in iGuidance 3.0! Yeah! And, may I add, I was also the first one to skin it heheh. You can see a screen shot, and download the plugin in THIS THREAD. The Blue Devil keyboard screen shot is in the 2nd post.

I have also added a skin for GPSGasoline. The button is on the GPS screen, and replaces the "GO" button, of which functionality is now available with the pop-up menu, and is no longer needed. GPSGasoline support is hardcoded right into the latest RR build, and nothing else is required to DL or install. This will also be available in the next release in the nedt day or 2 as I continue to watch this thread for bugs/additions/suggestions ect....

Have any of you guys used this skin with PHOCO yet? I am pretty sure the skin is all working for it, but I don't have my phone set up for it right now, so can't test it here.

I noticed that, and I would be just fine with using the Playlist screen but it doesn't have the controls that the Main Player screen does. FF/RW, Progress bar, Volume, etc. Maybe I could fine a visualization that shows the playlist.

Phoco is my next screen to setup, I've been watching that RRmobile plugin as well, is that just a matter of redirecting the buttons to use that? I plan to use phoco to start but someday that RRmobile will most likely end up in the rr build.
I'll get back to y'all tonight with any bugs/questions.

I have one odd issue with GPS..
1: Open roadrunner, go to GPS - Iguidance shows embedded
2: return to menu, open GPS stats, this embeds
3: use the GPS shortcut, screen returns to GPS but only shows IG where the show GPS program was embedded.
4: go to any other screen and back to gps stats then back to GPS everything works fine, no problems after that.
5: close rr, I can't see my desktop where the gps stats would have been embedded, it shows the middle 1/3 of the menu.jpg. This won't go away, and show gps is still open in the taskmanager though not the taskbar.

EDIT - set close apps=true in RR general ini fixes 5 . I forgot that I did a clean install of the beta and lost all my settings. Still nothing on the other 4, not that they are major..

Great work - I love everytime a skinner does new kewl stuff like LS, yourself here, Dynasty, Chuck all the great developers. There is so much to learn and when we can see examples its fantastic.

John I saw the IGQ post but just dloaded your latest work and still not sure where those keyboard skin files are? or should I get and place them from another location.

Please advise and thanks....

I like being able to pull the gps in on the player screen a lot. It would be great if it was an option to configure it so it always came up instead of the oscilloscope. Would that just be a matter of reconfiguring the main menu button to go straight to the gps enabled player menu and the return button to take you back to the main menu?

Are you planning to reshack out the menu button in iG3? If so, having the GPS there, you also need access to some of the gps buttons, or at least a shortcut back to the iG3 screen. Having to go back through the main menu to make a route adjustment is pretty cumbersome.

But boy is it awesome to have these details to talk about. Thanks for the great work.

TimyM: I know what you mean, about not having all the controls on the "Playlist screen". on a 7" monitor, it is so hard to get all the control i would LIKE to have on the screen. I could remove the album art from the playlist screen, and make room for more buttons. Let me know what you guys think about this. Honestly it is more important to have the album covers show on the browse screen when you are selecting music, but not really neccessary on the playlist screen.

kolemieux: I just now placed the skins available for download in the first post for the IGQwerty Keyboard. Those are the ones that match the Blue Devil skin.

mthespian: I will work on having the GPS come up automatically on that screen when loaded. I will also see about adding a few GPS buttons to control major functions. WIll tinker with it a bit here, and see what I can come up with.

so john is there any way to modify the clock.swf flash animation, so that it displays the mitsubishi.swf file centered instead of the blue mitsubishi logo??

Nope - unless I am nuts the files in that ZIP are the ones that you show in your example. Test the ZIP. I don't think I am losing it but u can never tell....
