I have the PSD's completed, and just need some help making a few different colors.
It is pretty straight forward and easy, just time consuming.
It would involve: (For instance the Menu skin) - Loading the Menu.psd
- Changing the Background color
- saving it as Menu_Off.jpg
- selecting the on indicators layer and saving the "Menu_On.jpg"
- Turning off the on indicators
- Turning on the Button On State and saving it as "Menu_Down.jpg"
- Rinse, and repeat for the rest of the 57 PSD's for the skin

I have found no way to really do this as a batch, as each skin is different in the layer organization ect.
As mentioned, it is pretty easy, just very time consuming. I have made the PSD's as easy as possible to do the color changes ect. The on buttons, indicators ect are all grouped in layers, so all that is required to turn the buttons "On" for instance is clicking the "Buttons On Group: to make them all visible with a single click. If anyone wants to help out with this, drop me a PM and we can talk about colors ect.
.
i could help with that
action scripting is your friend too

If you can find a high resolution logo, and email it to me (address in the help file) or PM me the link, I can make one up. I just searched and there are very few Tuscani logo's on Google Images, and all are low/poor quality.

Jump to Feature?
John,
This thread linked below is intriguing me.
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-plugins/82528-djiks-jump-file-external-control-plugin-v0-99b-beta-post882443.html
You may have seen my comments on the RR thread discussing the search feature of RR. As I mentioned on that thread the problem with the current search feature of RR is that the results are not particularly accurate. Also, whenever one does a search it loads a new playlist containing the results rather than simply displaying the results from the current playlist. For people like me who are routinely listening to playlists with many thousands of songs that take quite a while to load, it's a real pain to have to reload the playlist after every search. It's much better to simply list the songs in the current playlist that match the search criteria.
Anyway, I'm going to play with the plugin mentioned in the thread linked above and see how well it works. If it works well, maybe it could be skinned for the Blue Devil/Digital skin (as if you don't have enough to do ).

Readme
John - so far I really love the skin beta. Having a few issues, but want to make sure it isn't my error before bugging you and others for help. You mentioned several times to reference the readme - but I can't find it?
Awesome work thus far. To me, of the 7 or 8 skins I've looked at, yours is the most complete and well organized.
Thanks for the work!

Static
Need some help and I couldn't find it in any searches...
Here's the deal. Whenever I load up RR, the music plays great. Once I open my GPS (IG3), the is occasional static in the music. I have switched out my sound card and tried changing the priority of winamp be higher than IG3 and RR. Neither of these helped. If I close IG3, the static is gone again until I open it. Any thoughts?? Thanks for any help.
also, there is NO static if I run winamp and IG3 out of RR

Yea, I saw that as well I just have so much going on right now, I dont want to tackle another project. If you can figgure it out and get it all working where you think it would be useful, I would be more than happy & willing to make a skin for it!

I have never once heard of this happening. I realy have no clue on what to do to fix it. I would be willing to bet that it happens on other skins as well, as it does sound hardware related somehow. I wish I could help more, but I am stumped on this one.

My question is "where IS the readme?" I would be glad to if I can only find it. It wasn't in the zip I downloaded yesterday (and again today)
For example, the first post in the thread says there is an installer, and the games are included, but I don't see them.
Thanks again.

For some reason, moving the GPS usb to another controller worked. New question though... any reason why the video only plays mpeg and not avi?

Is the steel denim currently available? I like it toooo much. Also, Is there a way to get rid of the shadow in the clock's second hand? I dont want to install my macromedia flash mx if there is an easy fix.
Also I'm installing a night vision camera so would your skin be able to incorporate this? Would I just use the video tab?

The steel denim was more of a concept than anything to show how the transparency looked. If there is enough response, I will try to get that one put together after the release.
As for the second hand, I am not a flash programmer by ANY means. I was luckily able to remove the BG and make it transparent without screwing it all up. Altering the action code is definitely beyond my skill level... sorry.

well in the mean time I will try tinkering with the swf file for the clock.
John do you have the .psd for beta 2. the one on your website is version 1 or am I missing something.
Also how would u incorporate the backup camera with your skin? I haven't installed mine yet because i'm planning on 2 cameras one for front and one for back.

Backup camera's are something I planned to incorporate, and have it partially done actually. I just need to find a convenient place to put the button to access it.
