I can assure you, that there are no virus's in the scripts to control IG, but you seem to realize that already. It is a common problem with over zealous virus scanners. You say you have no control over you anti virus software? Well if you can somehow change the settings, try turning off the heuristic scanning.
Here is a link that is similar to the problem you are having, but with Road Runner itself turning up as a "false positive"

Hi,
I have never been satisfied with Norton or McAfee but if you decide to change I use "Norman Virus Control" over our enterprise as well as on our SMTP gateway. One of the best features is the ability to create a virtual environment and run the executables and scripts in that virtual environment to make sure it has no malicious intent. I have downloaded and scanned the BD skin and all modules with no "False Positive" ID's. Anytime I can get someone off of Norton or McAfee I feel good about it.
BTW This is one of the nicest skins I have seen thus far "JohnWPB"
Great Work!!!

Blue Devil Meets Destinator
Ok, been busy here! I had a few PM's asking about a Destinator skin, so I have been working on it. It used the FreeDrive program that CDRSkull wrote. It is a fantastic application, just a bit of a pain in the butt to skin!
Here is a preview shot of it:

Having the same problem. Any mirror? Checking out the forums on this savefile.com site, seems to be as unreliable as my power supplies...

Im really thinking MP3Car needs to organize some bittorrenting. Save people from hosting issues. No piracy, just a way to distribute skins/etc where the users can support a bit of the bandwidth.

you guys should start hosting RR skins at www.deviantart.com under downloadables>skins and themes. it's free, and a good community, and comments etc can be left on deviant art.

Downloading Problems, New download site:
Guys, I am sorry for the downloading issues, I went through quite a few sites that looked far worse, and made you jump through hoops to download something.

tja, thanks for the pointer, I put everything there to test it out, hopefully this is better than the crappy place I posted to the last time! Check the first post for the Download Link.
I have added quite a bit to this release, and to the download site to include:
(May not seem like a long list, but the Freedrive skinning took something like 8 hours total time!)
- Blue Devil Support & skin for Freedrive/Destinator 3.1
- iGuidance 3.0 UMPC Version patch to match the Blue Devil Skin

Your reports are much appreceiated!
Double post... sorry
Ok, I see quite a few people are downloading the iGuidance patch, and a few the Destinator skin. PLEASE let me know if you have any issues that need addressing as soon as you can, so I can work on getting them fixed.
Thanks!

Here's an interesting one --- the patched iguidance creates those nice semi-transparent buttons for osd, cancel route, 3d/2d, menu, and auto zoom. But if I leave iguidance running and go back to the main menu, those buttons remain visible on top of the menu.
--EDIT:
They also maintain their fullscreen onscreen location when iguidance embeds smaller in the player window.
--EDIT:
They also move from place to place with closing and reopening the gps screen. And don't go away when I exit RR or iguidance or both.

Transparent Buttons are NOT part of the Blue Devil skin

Heheheh If you want to get rid of those "transparent buttons" you need to turn iGmon off
Glad the new download site is working well.... Has anyone tried this with FreeDrive yet? What do you guys think of the modded iGuidance to make it look integreated into Road Runner?

John I installed the new version yesterday on my way home from work...yes while driving...I think I may have pasted the mod line for Freedrive in the wrong spot as it didn't work. I hope to have a chance to play with it today and will give you some feedback soon.
