look for this line in rr.ini: ignative=true if it's not there..add it;

In RRConfig set the GPS path to point to iGuidance(UMPC).exe;

And make sure the GPS name (in RRConfig) is "iGuidance"

Do that and report back.

Hi Thanks well it works Fine.....
By removing the refrence "C2F"

Only bad part ( may be i could not figure it ) is on the RR screen in Temp Mode the indicator shows the temp but no C or F.......

You have to open RR config, and uncheck mark where it says to use a menu for GPS.

Is anyone having issues with the buttons circled in Red? The issue is I have to press the buttons about 100 times in order for it to Zoom.

I also noticed that every time I press one of those buttons the Map blinks white for a split second.

Here are my specs:
iGuidance 3.01
iGuidanceUMPC.exc patch
800X600 Resolution (both Touch screen & Laptop)
Digital FX skin 2.0
Window title = iGuidance

Any help would be great

I see no reason to doubt anyone, but I have sent a PM to him asking him to test a few things out for me. I will post the findings here when he gets back to me.

I just got my DVD of iGuidance 4 this week and hope to install tomorrow.

Previously I have tried RoadNav and Street Atlas 2007, so I have no previous installs of iGuidance to deal with / compare with.

I'll be sure to post some info / screenshots when I have them.

It works fine with FX2.0 and I've also used it with CDR's IPhone Beta skin.

One tip. Follow the instructions here http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/t...6&whichpage=24 to turn on TTS fulltime.

I didn't end up liking the mixed voice.

Is this a BUG or is it that i am doing wrong here.....

THe GPS STATS screen opens and works fine... But a FUNNY thing in the COMPASS mode....... the Direction indicator "" E"" ( and ONLY E ) ROTATES for 1 full circle in its place and then stays steady......

However if i start the RR again and go to this page thea same thing happens....

Any suggestions PLs

^^^ yeah, a bug in the flash file itself makes the "E" flip, nobody have been able (or tryed) to fix it yet.

Yes, that is a bug, and unfortunately one I can not fix. I am not a flash programmer. It is just something I have had to deal with.

As for iG4 working with the DigitalFX skin:

I just heard back from shot598, and here is what he had to say to my questions:

- Does the iG Pop-up menu work? (Arrow at the top right of the skin) and the buttons on that? YES

- Does the Full screen button work to go to Full screen and then back? YES

- Do the different layouts work (Minimize looking button on the bottom right) YES

Thanks shot598 for beta testing it for us!
