So far so good, the only issue I'm seeing is on the SAT info button. Speedo needle floats around.

I downloaded again today and still get the same error.
Any clues as to what this might be?

mr civic search this thread or the blue devil thread on vbscript error. there is a file/installer from microsoft that you need to download and install. I had the same problem but can't find the post that linked the page to microsoft.com
John, can we integrate a port splitter like xport3 into the skin? that way if there is some kind of problem with the gps not turning on we can solve the problem through the skin.

Noticed something minor in the Copper Skin. The button layout on the music player screen is different to the others. Copper still has the separate repeat/shuffle buttons, so it does not have the "Rate Song" button that the others colors have.
Also another minor one. In the original Blue Skin you renamed the "Search" button on the playlist screen to "Super Search". In all the other colors the button is still labeled "Search". Also the "Super Search" skin is still blue in all the other color versions. How's that for nitpicking.
For some reason even though the Jump to File "Super Search" loads up in the Red, Copper and BM Skins it only actually works in the Blue Skin. I've looked at the files and I can't figure out why. If I run Blue it works great but it never shows any files with the other colors. The Jump to File Search is really sweet, thanks for adding that!
*Edit- Figured out the "Super Search" problem above. Has something to do with the way the plugin loads. If I click on the "Cancel" button within the search window and close the plugin and then hit the "Home" button to go back to the previous screen, the Search Screen loads fine the next time.

Installer didnt work for me, either. Had to install manually. Cant read the instruction, since I cant view compiled HTML. Still having trouble with the volume controls with IG, but thats with all skins and has to do with RR.
Other than that, I like it. Should match my Vibes dash lights.

Installer issues and a few other things
Wow, lot of questions
I am not sure what the XM issue is, does this happen on other skins as well?
This installer had some major issues, so I spent some time tonight making all the paths dynamic, based on what is in the ini file ect. I will be updating all of the files probably tomorrow.
Yea, I forgot to do some of the screen in some of the colors and they are being corrected, as well as forgetting to re-do the images that had changed. This has turned into a daunting task of having to update 4 different colors for each change now.
The "Super Search" screen will remain blue for now.... sorry, but it is 55 INDIVIDUAL graphics to change that out. A new version of that is in the works that will be built into Road Runner, and no external plugin will be needed, and will skin the same way as the rest of the skins. The plugin is slated to be out around March according to his post today.
The transparent "turtle" image was just to show how the buttons were done in transparency. The only way to change the background image is in the PSD files them self. Rumor has it that this may be changing in the near future

That seems like more trouble than it's worth since, for the most part, you set it once and leave it alone. It's easy enough to put a shortcut to XPORT on the desktop and then minimize RR if you need to fiddle with it.

exactly what I do
Once xport is set up and working right you never really need to touch it again
Try updating your xport to the latest greatest version
If youre getting problem with gps and hibernation/standby use something like devcon

John -
How about a list of future enhancements you plan?
I noticed in the download you have the milage.dll file - does that mean you plan to implement some tripmeter?
ODBII - you've already stated that's one of your major enhancements.
I'd like to see the ability to replace the clock with a similar size image viewer that changes pics on a configurable interval. I admit I may be the only one wanting this, so probably not enough demand. Plus the need may be negated by the soon to be transparancy?
An imbedded calendar might be nice. I just need a simple calendar, but I'm sure others would like to then add reminders (like "hey idiot, pick up flowers on the way home cuz it's your anniversary")
CDRip is not working on my computer. I'm not sure if it's a skin issue, RR, plugin, or my computer. Your's is the only skin I have on there as I'm building the system. When I select the button, it just says "loading"
An OSK on the Streets GPS skin?
Thanks for the great work. Beer money on the way.
Kevin

Check this thread for tripmeter setup, my guess is if he has included the dll he has also done the screens for it

That'll be Rainlendar then. Not sure if that is available for this skin but there has been some work done, including this for Freedom, you might be able to adapt for this skin

You need to check you have set CDRip up correctly, read here

I'm embedding Outlook 2000 through launch. That provides email, calendar, tasks, contacts, etc. Whenever I'm going to be on the road I just copy my Outlook.pst file to a USB thumbdrive and plug the drive into the carputer. I then have everything current and at my fingertips. It works quite well.

Thanks enforcer.
<You need to check you have set CDRip up correctly>
Thanks for that link. Don't know how I missed it in my previous searches. I have not done anything for ASPI, so that is likely the problem. Will know tonight!

I like the idea of a picture viewer in place of the clock for an option as well.

Future enhancements
The CDRip Utility can be quite finiky to set up and get working on some systems. Read that link Enforcer posted, as that will probably get you going.
Future enhancements? Nope... None Planned.
- ODBII is on my list, but the one I found will work for my car, but not many others. This is an area I have not really gotten into yet, and would like to find a solution that will work with a majority of the cars out there.
- Rainlender calendar has bee on my list for a while to get that skinned
- Voice Memo / Radio /Satellite Radio recording
- Getting the ratings plug in working when the bugs are stomped out of it.
- The photo viewer in the center of the clock should be pretty easy to do. I will try to get on that here soon
- I already added a new clock option that will allow the digital clock and the compass on the main menu. It will be out in the next release.
