Don't have any disapearing screens in DFX but it's my experience that when something like that happen, the graphics for the screen you're calling don't exist or the .skin itself isn't calling the right graphics. If when it happens you can press <Esc> and go back to the previous screen, then that could be the problem.

Run Enforcer's SkinChecker program and see what you find..

Ill give it a try treetop, but i dont think its it. It happens when going back to the previous screen, say, like pressing the home key on gps to go back to the menu, or backing out of the music browser.

I did some poking around, there doesn't appear to be one. Some people have mentioned that they want to work on one, but I don't see any progress.

The only solution I've read of is adding an OBD 2 program to the apps list.

same thing happens to me sometime. It usually happens to me when i'm rating a song. The program will crash and all i will see is my desktop background with music still playing. i've just gotten to the point of not worrying about it and having to do a hard shutdown while driving because i don't have a keyboard in the car.

Thats the same thing that happens to me T.C.T. It has happened on song ratings, but only once. Also, my music continues to play. I have my powermate set to restart the system on a long push (over 3 seconds) but then my powermate doesnt work when it comes back up!!

I just dont understand!!! Oh, did you have to do anythng funky to get your song ratings to work? I can rate them, but i cant find the playlists it should create?

I'm trying to get my new webcam working in DFX. It's a logitech orbit af and has pan and tilt functions. When I click the camera button, I see a picture for the webcam but the record button and all the rest of the buttons do not work. I tried using the rrcam 2.0 final files to fix the problem but when I update those files I get no picture at all and the buttons still do not work.

to get the song ratings to work you have to set the playlist path in RRconfig. within that folder i created 5 playlists. called 1star, 2star, 3star, etc. so whenever you rate a song it will add it to that list. to keep the program from not crashing i just take my time rating songs. don't try to do it real fast or it will crash. give it about 5-10 seconds each time.
rate song, 5 secs, hit the star, 10 secs, press ok. seems to work for me

also forgot to mention another instance when it would crash.

I would be driving to work in the morning and whenever i got to the same spot on the road, like clockwork everyday, the program would crash. I thought it was weird. but i deleted ziplocater.dll and it worked after

Where are the weather preset buttons define at? I would like to change them, but cant find them, only "weatherpreset1 preset2.. and so on. Anyone know?

I know a lot of people claim to have been beta testing DFX 3.0, but does anyone have an estimate on when the Final version will be realease? I know Can't rush perfection, just thought I would ask.
