Feedback?
I was hoping to get more feedback from the masses here. The skin has been downloaded around 150 times, and just like 15 different people have posted in the thread.
I DO appreciate the comments, suggestions and bug reports so far, but there are far more people using it, and I could use that input as well
I want some feedback on anything that needs fixed, improved on ect. I want to get as much done to this before I start finalizing the other colors, so I don't have to go back and edit each of those individually.

The installer still isn't working for me. I've installed RR at c:\road runner. I've changed the path in roadrunnerpath.ini. But when I run the installer i get the error"
Roadrunner is not installed in the default path: c:\road runner\
Please open the RRPath.ini and put the full path to Road Runner on your system. WHen you have done that, run the installer script again.

John, maybe it's just that it's that good. Usually people post only if there's a question or problem. In this case, though, it would be equally helpful for people using the skin to post saying that they're using it and not experiencing any trouble. That way you'll know it's in pretty good shape and can feel comfortable implementing the new colors.
So those of you happily using the skin without any trouble, please help out and make a post saying so.

JohnWPB,
i fixed the logo issue, needed a newer version of flash.
GPS i am using iGuidance 3.0, working like a charm. One issue though, whenever i start GPS for the first time, it doesnt start as maximized, i have to click the double window button under 'Repeat Command' button for it to fix it.
I still cant get Control Panel, wireless settings, bluetooth settings, and display settings to do anything inside settings option, probably something with my system.
Is there a way to stop the system beeping every time i use touch screen, anyone else getting the beep?
Would love to see a Silver Version of the screen..... whenever you get to it.

Ok fine. I'll skip the good comments and only post a problem
1) The help file says that to use S&T, all you have to do is configure it in rr.ini. Well you do have to go remove the comment / in the tbl file
2) When in the music player and you select GPS, it either loads the IG screen, or does nothing. Of course, I am only running S&T.
Any plans to imbed (or create) a ODBII interface?
Oh yea, one more teeny bug in the helpfile - in the CD Rip help, it points to rrdownload which of course doesn't work any more.
I hope you know I'm only being sarcastic and really do appreciate your hard work Paypal coming soon.

Road Runner Installer

Sorry! That was a mistake on my part in the script. I decided to change it half way through, and forgot to change some of the variables. I just went through and fixed it, and HOPEFULLY it will work correctly now. You can download the installer script on the same page linked in the first post instead of having to DL the entire skin again.
You will ONLY need this installer if Road Runner is not installed to the Default Location:
"C:\Program Files\ Road Runner\"

Digital FX Issues, ODBII and such...

The beep you are hearing is from your touch screen software. You can go into the preferences for the TS software, and change th epitch of the beep, duration, or turn it on/off

1) Forgot about that... sorry
2) You can change what GPS software gets embedded by changing the button code on the GPS button oin the audio players skin file. I put iGuidance there, as that is what I use. I cant make an individual audio screen for all the GPS programs out there.... sorry. I will see about putting the commands necessary in the help file to make it easier to do.
3) ODBII is next on my list of MAJOR items. It is going to be a little bit down the road though, as I have ye to get the hardware and such for testing. I plan on using the donations from the PayPal link for just that purpose. This way I get something, but it is something to make the skin better for everyone at the same time.

What a nice way to spell my nick...
I've read your notes and I'll try to take care of what you had asked for in a future release. One thing I'm not sure whether you know or not, my plug in is fully skinnable. That means you can resize/reposition/remove the buttons if you need to.

John,
On the music playlist screen and music browser screen when I hit GPS the GPS skin comes up but the IGuidance map doesn't load (100% of the time). The IGuidance map comes up everywhere else.

GPS Buttons on the Audio Screens

That is something that slipped right through the crack with all the beta testing by everyone, and myself! Not only that, those buttons have been there starting in the Blue Devil skin, since October, when iGuidance became natively embedded in Road Runner, and iGLaunch was no longer necessary to use
It has been fixed, and will be in the next release.
In the mean time, if anyone wants to fix it them self, you can replace the button code on those to screens that call it. Find this line:
Code:
"LOAD;External_GPS.skin;iGLaunch;C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGLaunch.exe;iGLaunch"
And simply replace it with "GPS"
