How come I can't see any of my playlists? Also when I create a playlist, and try to save as a new list it does not show up in the playlist window, but it does show up in the correct Playlist directory? Without the playlists I can't do proper searches using that slick plugin (can't remember the name right now)

Bravo on the new features, you never cease to amaze me.
Actually, you can easily do that by setting the folder path in the skin file. I will put instruction in the help file on how to do this. Possibly down the road, I will add a way to browse to that folder from within the skin.
Right now thats not possible. The weather code "cahe's" just the last city viewed. This would take a complete rewrite of that code to be able to do this.

I drive a lot. in one 2-3 hours, I can drive through 4 states. I would like to know if I can see the weather in the other preset locations I have. with out a internet connection.
Right now I can only see one location without internet connection.
thanks for the great skin. I know you put a lot of time and hard work in to it.
Thanks.

Open the DigitalFX help file and under "How do I.....Use Playlists?" is a detailed explanation on how to set up play lists to work correctly.

Some people, me included, are unable to see playlists unless ".m3u" (no quotes) is added to the audio file types section of rrconfig under the music tab. I don't believe this is yet included in the help file.

Actually it is in the current help file. Under the "How Do I..." section, it is the 6th one from the bottom of the FAQ's.
I spent the past day working in a new installer, and threw in the towel! I got some good advice from Liquid Smoke on a very nice professional installer program, and went that route. No more having to deal with the stupid VB script! The installer now is a single "Install DigitalFX.exe" and will walk you through the process. It will also include all of the plugins and such that the skin uses, and registers all the DLL's and such fully automatically.

Sorry, John, with everything else you've got going I didn't know you found time to update the help file. I haven't looked at it in a while.
Nice to hear about the new installer, though the current one worked perfectly for me. Looking forward to the new version.

New Skin Installer

That is a VERY GOOD question!
The installer will automatically install the skin to \Road Runner\Skins\DigitalFX 2.0 and will not overwrite the DIgitalFX (Color) folder. Thus both skins can co-exist on your system at the same time.
Though the default path to RR is c:\program Files\Road Runner\ The installer will allow you to change this. If you blindly click through the installer, and its not in the default location, the Installer will ask for your attention in this matter
Best advice, Try out the new skin, and if all goes well, and you are happy with it, you can delete the original one.

DigalFX 2.0 Released!
It's Official! Its up and ready to download. Thanks to kbreeden for beta testing the installer and giving the skin a workout!
If you have any issues, please let me know!
Yes, the skin has a real installer now!
Oh! Make sure to read the last screen in the installer when it has completed. If the skin just looks pale gray to you, you did not read the instructions I say this, as I am waiting for the first post with someone saying "I tried changing the background, and the skin is just gray? What gives"
EDIT:
DAMN! 16 Downloads in 5 minutes! What do you guys do, get text messages on your cell phone when something new is posted
Just please give me some feedback on how the install went, and the skin is operating for you, good & bad. Thanks!

Umm I've been watching this thread non-stop since about Monday. Hitting F5 to refresh every 15 minutes.
Working great for me so far - just exploring skins now.

It's working great indeed. I like it so much!
One thing I noticed so far. When this skin is loaded and I exit RR, it (RR) is still running in the background (if I look in Task Manager). This is not happening with the old FX.

Well I just noticed a problem myself. The iGuidance Options screen (To toggle Auto screen switching, auto pausing of the music when iG speaks ect) is broken. I did some moving around of things, and that screwed it up.
I am working on it now, and a little better way of doing it. I should have a patch in the next day or so for it.

Features yet to come
Now that the skin is converted over, I can start tackling a few things I have been putting off for some time now.
Did someone mention something about this just the other day?
