Has anyone tried to minimize the program?
I did mine on my laptop and it will not restore it self to full size. It stays on the task bar. I then have to go to the RR config and load another skin. then as soon as I load the new skin back up. it is Minimized again.
I'm going to try it in my car computer. see if it does the same thing.

The Album browser is still a work in progress, hopefully I will get that done soon. I will see about adding a clock and also adding a GPS option to the radio player as well.
As for the sliders, indicators and such, they have been on the back burner. I really just wanted to get the PSD"s completed and such with this release. Now that everything seems to be going along smoothly, I can work on the sliders, and other images in the skin. Images like the icons on the bars ect, to give certain levels of transparency where the blue is still the dominant color. On the main menu, the Icon for "Satellite" is how I want all of the icons on the skin to be. Notice that icon when you change the BG color, it takes on the color of the BG.
I am just so glad to be done with 95% of the major work with the new PNG's and being able to focus on the little things to finish it off.

When I click on the link to download from the first page, it says site cannot be found. Anyone else having this problem?

In the help file there is a link under the FAQ that says "How do I change the logo". There are detailed instructions, and links to find the spinning logo of your choice.

I haven't had any other reports, other than a brief few minutes when SangreDeThor reset his server and the Download link was unavailable for around 5 minutes is all.

One of those is my fault, the other is an issue with the new Road Runner and the CDRip Plugin not playing nicely together.
For the JTT, It is was working here, but the plug in was embedded into "nothingness" as I missed pointing to the new PNG files on that skin, and it refers tot he JPG"s which no longer exist. All fixed and will be in the next release.
As for the CDRip, it does not like using PNG images. I changed them back to JPG's, and the plugin loads, but the mouse does not appear when moving over the plugin. I have reported this to Guino, and am waiting to hear what he has to say about it.
I also fixed the sliders on the skin to match the new loon, and not use the old blue ones. In the process I made the slider a little bigger, as well as the "Touchable area" a little bigger as well. It was a little finicky about having to touch just the right spot to get the slider to respond, now, even with the stubbiest of fingers it will respond much better

I did the best I could come up with for the slider, I wanted it to blend with whatever color that you had the skin set to, and still be seen. I couldn't just just a plain black one for instance, as it would not be visable on the Brushed Metal, or Black backgrounds. It couldn't just be white, as it wouldn't show up on the Brushed steel one..... It maintains transparency, but has a white border for darker skins.

Little Details
Well, have started working on the "little things"
It's a painstaking process, but I have started to edit the icons on the buttons to give certain area's of them transparency levels. All of the icons were designed for the original blue skin, and most of the icons have a lot of blue in them, and makes them really stand out on a different color background. (Compare the image below, with the red one 2 posts back to see what I mean) It's a fracking pixel by pixel process for the most part. I cant just make the entire icons a transparency level, as it would just look like a ghostly blue icon heheh
Below you can see the Satellite, Phone and Utilities icons are not taking on the color of the background.
On another note, I would love to see some screen captures of what you guys are using for backgrounds of the skin! So, please, post away!

Have different sliders for different backgrounds and then when the background changes, changes the pointer graphic.

Would added the additional RR INI information from the original Digital FX Skin have any effect on 2.0? Maybe something like this:
preload=External_GPS.skin;Initializing Navigation System
preload=audio_player.skin;Initializing Audio
preload=audio_browser.skin;Initializing Music Library
preload=Audio_Full_Player.skin;Initializing Music Player
preload=Programs.skin;Initializing Applications
preload=menu2.skin;Initializing Applications
fastmode=-1
transition=-1
fadeimages=false
picspath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 2.0\Backgrounds
* I just realized that in the original skin fastmode was set to 1 and in 2.0 it's set to -1. What's the difference performance wise?

Yes, I forgot to put some of that stuff back, after a reinstall and some house cleaning here. the preloads will make the transition between the mainly skins virtually instantaneous. As for the Fastmode=-1 that HAS to be in there, as thats what tells RR to use transparent images. I will clean up the ini and include the missed stuff for the next release.
Great screen Caps Bump! I also really like the last one! Sweet!
Keep those screen captures coming guys! I am going to put together a gallery with the images linked from the download page so people can see what is possible.
Just came in side for a few minutes to cool off. Its a full day of yard work here It's only 2:30 and I already have a pretty good sun burn going on!
