Ok, 2 requests on this one, I will definately look into it, and see where I can shuffle things around a bit.
Oh, no more replies or updates tonight! after one crazy week of coding and such, I am off to spend some of the "Beer money" on exactly just that!

Are their any plans to change the hard wiring for C:\Program Files in DigitalFX? I note that RoadRunnerPath.ini is not in the DigitalFX 2.0 directory. There is a real need to accomodate systems where the programs are not installed on the C: drive. If there are no plans to support such installs, has anyone compiled a list of visual basic and *.ini files that need to be changed? For example, the programs in the iGScripts directory need to be edited and I was unable to get them running properly in the last version because of my inability to understand some of the program logic.

John, when I added the preload add-in's from Digital FX 1 they actually slowed down loading times in between screens. It took me 7 seconds in between screens while without it, I could only count to about 2.5 until it loaded the next screen.I was entering everything else though too, such as the fading and transition.

With all the download issues reported, I added a mirror over at CarPCnet.com. So if one is slow or down, the other should work fine.
In this release, a few minor issues fixed:
- Sliders now match the skin.
- Slider area's now have a larger "Touch" area on the menu screens.
- Icons on the first menu converted to match whatever color is behind them
- Jpg background for the CD-Rip Plugin
- Moved the images on the weather icons a bit to align them better with each other when viewed onthe 5-day forecast screen
John , I know you say the next build done.
I have more backgrounds if you want them for the next build. i have screen shot of all of them. I don't know if you want me to post all 41 screen here . That will take a lot of pages. I can post them here if you want and zip the files in to one file. If you want we can start a new thread of just backgrounds (screens & files ).
Let me know.
thats some of them.

John, love the new features! Good job. Have some more small nits for ya though:
1. Radio works great with both my WinTV/FM and Silabs but when listening to radio and looking at main screen, the skin still has the labels from the last MP3 I was listening to, i.e., no radio station info on either main screen. (I know I use trackname labels on my other skins for just this reason). I also noticed the radio screen has a record button, but it doesn't work. Can you put the same button on the XM and Audio screens?
2. Imageviewer seems to lock-up on exit or slideshow.
3. I left my "picspath" variable in RR.ini alone and copied the background folder to its root. Can you create another variable for your backgrounds? And while we're at it (especially since transparent skins is about to blow up) can we create a new variable called "backgroundspath" so we can put the backgrounds under the RoadRunner directory and share them with the other skins coming. I'm having a hell of a time cleaning up my RR subdirectories when every skin repeats folders for weather, weatherscripts, games, icons, logos, mixer presets, DRAW/Scribble, Radar Images, Gas Logos, Web Plugin skins, TrafficDetails, TrafficMaps, and on and on and on.... <rant mode off>
4. I realize you've just spent a considerable amount of time getting V2.0 released, but for 3.0 have you thought of using RR Text labels and custom fonts ala Chucks skin so endusers can also change font colors on the fly. I only ask this because I find white backgrounds with black text works best with the top down on my convertables and direct sunlight.
5. I tracked down the spinninglogo.swf (didn't see reference to it in the help file and replaced with my own but my background isn't transparent. The picture option is nice cause it automatically resizes the jpg. I also played around with Tissy's CSC flash logos, but think the FreedomUltimate Speedo is what I'd really like to see as an additional option - That is if CDR's willing to release it as a stand alone flash file. <begging mode off>
6. The mini GPS insert on the audio player blew me away. Can that also be done with the XM and FM screens? Or even a toggle when clicking the logo on the main screen.
Overall, this is a great skin, looks like you've set the bar pretty high for the next guy (Uh hum, KPJUK looks like we got some work to do). I can't wait to try this at 800x1024, I'm sure Turbocad is too.

John - on the Iguidance Wide screen there is nothing there. No buttons just the map. lockup at that point . no way out. If the map was not up. it looks like a lock up. ( minimize RR with no hope of Maximize it .) I think that was what I had earlier. That locked me up. Both of mine are .
Anyone else want to try it?

Help!
Did you add the code to RR.ini that was on you desktop?
edit:
Yep, I got the same thing. You have to add the code to RR.ini it is in your Road Runner Folder.
you have to add this to your RR.ini.
picspath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 2.0\Backgrounds
fastmode=-1
localdatacaptureinterval=10
in the localdatacaptureinterval=10 command. you can replace 10 with any amount of Minute you want the Weather to reload. 0=Manual reloading: 1-30 mins.

ok . Image Viewer it is.
Go to the " Road Runner " folder.
you will see a folder called " ImageViewer " .
in that folder there is a File called " ImageViewer_Config.ini " open it .
There is a line called " Init_Path = E:\mce Pictures\ "
Change everything after the " = " to where you want the picture to be.
Good Luck . Come back again.
