Here is the screen caps of the audio player, and a new split screen GPS mode.
Its def. worth a little more RAM usage to have the skin be this fast!

All Menu art and basic code is complete. Just finishing up the OSK's and tweaking the code a bit more. Need to figure out the 'J' image code and how come my slider will not "slide" into a track position now/

Mixer Menu.
Well Skin is for the most part done. I need to set up a couple things and do the documentation now. There are going to be a couple dependencies with v3.0. Roadrunner.exe 4-2007 or higher is a must. GDI wrapper must be registered (Im writing a simple script to install this) A line or 2 needs to be added to rr.ini before first run. It will all be explained in the READ_ME. I gotta say now that I know how to skin with transparencies it opens up a new world of ideas for me.

Documentation nearing completion. I also added a 'hidden' development menu for the pros. It contains the framework for the next version of shock skin which will use custom labels for buttons so the button names can be changed and the overall layout can be reordered. Using this template a version with icons on top would also be feasible. I will be starting a new thread for v3.0 and current version 1.0 and 2.0 will remain hosted although development has stopped on both versions and they can be considered legacy at this point.
I will include a link to the new version when it is up
PS im going to see the simpsons movie at 12:01am MI time so I need to leave soon

Pardon the dumb question. But, after I change the colors in the psd file. How do I get the new colors to show up when I launch RR.

Hello hvaughn,
Changing the PSD's requires saving new menus in jpeg format. Its somewhat of a repetitive process as you have to save a on/off jpeg for each menu.
If I were you I would wait for the release of v3.0. It will be very soon. This allows any wallpaper to be used and the bars are transparent. You will be able to change colors on the fly.
What version are you using right now?
On another note I installed v3.0 on my via m10000 today in the car and it works awesome! It is faster on the via than v 1 or 2 and those were pretty fast. Since everything went good on my transfer to another PC I do believe v3 is ready for public consumption.

I was using v1.0. But since v3.0 is available, I will switch to it now :-)
Man, you are a GENIUS! Thanks for the awesome skin.
