anyone know how to get rid of the annoying chime when the iPhone skin opens?
also the swoosh sound when you close out of other parts of the skin (like games or audio sub-menus)?
this skin is absolutely amazing otherwise, even with the occasional hangup and crash when you save settings in rrconfig and dont reset the computer (changes the resolution to something that my screen cant render and i have to go into safemode to fix it).

Are there any plans to add backup camara functionality to this skin?
Also, how can I make this work with PowerDVD 7? Because of my very limited knowledge, I'm not sure how to edit the DVD button to point to the PowerDVD skin. Currently I get a full grey screen with a large button in the upper left hand corner (it says "Controls") that activates the DVD controls. I still haven't been able to get any video to show up. I have searched thru the forums and seen some people us mpc by checking the internal player but even that didn't work.

ok..adding J,0,0,0,0 to the skin file makes it change in the audio browser, just not in the main menu for some reason...but still a sweet skin

First let me say that this is hands down the best and most functional skin EVER!!!!
Here's some feedback based on my experience.
1. Intuitive Interface
I love the interface. Very ergonomic and usable on a CarPuter. I've ran into some minor ergonomic issues that I'll address in the following bullets. I think the ultimate litmus test is if someone that's never used the system before can figure it out quickly. Using more text labels would probably help things out since icons are useful only for basic things (volume +/-, VCR style playback controls).
2. Folder/File Icons
When I use the music browser, it's not easy to figure out what's a folder and what's a file. I finally noticed the icon to the left, but I was wondering if there's a way to configure it to use icons i specify?
3. GPS Screen
Excellent screen once again. Please see the attached modified pic for reference.
3.1- Needs to have all song info like is seen on the audio player window. Items that should be displayed:
-- Song Name
-- Artist
-- Album
-- Cover Art (read from mp3, not JPG)
-- song position slider
-- Track length
-- current time position
-- Icon for shuffle / repeat / shuffle+repeat
3.2- Bullseye button on the top left should take you to the Audio Browser rather than the skin selection page. It would also need an intuitive icon or perhaps text label.
3.3.- Could probably save some space at the top for song info by [1] get rid of minimize icon, [2] move volume level indicator to the bottom near the volume controls (with subdued colour theme).
4. Performance
The UI seems to run pretty quick on my Centrino Dual Core 1.6ghz, but on the CarPuter (Pentium III, 600 Mhz), it has consistent 100% CPU use by RoadRunner. I run iGuidance and I would guess that it would choke iGuidance while driving. I haven't tried it in the car yet.
5. Need Mechanism for Playlists
I've always felt that RR is somewhat weak on this but I would like to see a skin that lets you choose predefined M3U playlists. Perhaps a button that would take you to a screen containing all the M3U playlists, allowing you to select one. Then, the GPS screen and Audio Player would show you (in an obvious colour), that you are currently playing from a playlist. I know that technically we're using a Winamp playlist, but this should be abstracted to the user.
6. Config File
Would it be possible to have a config file that your SWF's use to load preferences? I ask because I'd like to disable some things for my system since I don't have them (e.g. Video, BlueTooth, XM Radio,DVD, etc...). Giving a config option would help us all out just a little bit further.
Thanks again and I hope you take these suggestions.

I plan on trying this out later today.
I installed the FU skin last night as my first attempt at installing a front end. It works and is an awesome looking skin. Hopefully I can get this Iphone working tonight.
CDR....you do some awesome stuff.

Can someone help me out organizing the file structure of installing this Iphone skin.
I have the FU skin and that works ok. To set up the FU skin, I just dropped the RoadRunner.exe and GDIPlus into my RoadRunner folder. And then the Ultimate folder in my roadrunner skin folder and it works.
But the Iphone folder doesn't seem to have these files in them?
Any help?
Thanks,
Forrest

I got it to work.
The problem was that file not in my system folder.
But now, visually there are some problems?
The border is a bit screwed up and the buttons/icons aren't displayed on my screen?
-----EDIT-------
Updated my flash and all is well my friends!!!!!
