What is a "hdd" version? I thought that stood for "hard disk drive" 
Anyway, are you installing the FULL XP or a stripped-down one? What are your system specs.?
Have tried it on a different computer?

hi.
yes, you are right with hard disk drive. i have no internet connection in my car, and downloaded a version of this flash player to my hard disk drive, so that i can put it into my car pc. the strange thing is, that the xeon skin works great.
i have an asus a7n8x board with an athlon xp 2600+ @1250Mhz
512Mb infineon Ram
Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Music with original Creative driver
Navilock NL302 U
ASUS V8200T5 Deluxe (Geforce 3 TI 500) with Microsoft Driver. i allready tried a nvidia driver, but no change.
M2 ATX power supply
60Gb IBM hdd
A friend of mine has a small VIA Epia ML 8000A with 800Mhz and the same Windows XP Version. He installed only road runner with this iPhone skin, the audigy 2 driver and a divx version. he has no problems
on my lap top it works nice as well.
i got his road runner folder but there is the same problem. so it is a windows problem i think

One more time (so i don't have to read the whole thing again), is it the icons ie audio, video, dvd, etc you don't see? or is it the buttons ie play, vol, exit, mute etc you don't see?
Look in the iPhone skin folder for a "icons" folder see if there's anything in there.

i can't see the buttons in the main menu. only the text under the buttons. i'll make a screenshot and post it.

oki, here i am. another strange thing is the clock. in the rr settings is the short form of the clock chosen, but it shows always the big one.

the clock problem is solved.
how can i restart the skin? just restart road runner? or can someone send me his options? maybe there is a soo easy error.
did you see, that the middle part on my screenshot is smaller than the rest?

cdr build most of screens in 3 pieces, the bottom, the mid, and the top one. if you open the main.swf you only can see the part of screen who is smaller in your application.
is the problem with smaller -mid of screen- in every other screen too ?
did you make any changes in the main.swf file ?

the complete skin is original. i didn't make any changes.
i'll try to start the main.swf with the internet explorer. if there is the same problem it should be a flash problem, right?

ok, i tested two things:
1. On my lap top with win xp home and internet explorer 7. i loaded the main.swf and the nice sound appears and the buttons will shown.
2. On my carpc with win xp pro and internet explorer 6. i did the same, and the sound appears, but the buttons are invisible.

Wow, I really like your work. This is really beyond anything I expected to run. Makes this whole project much more worth all of the time and money! I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work.
Also, I'm running it with i-guidance with out any issues. An amazing beta release.
