add startcommand=gps to rr.ini. If your GPS skin is named something other than external_gps.skin, that command will not work. You might have to use ONSKINSTART command.

Read the RR FAQ about embedding other apps, it might help with your second question..

Shutdown menu

I am guessing that since this skin is still in its beta stages the screen has not been made yet. I am referring to the menu that would usually come up when you try and exit RR. You usually get the option to shut down, restart, hibernate and the other power options. Whenever I use the iPhone skin it automatically just exits RR without any question. Is this on the list to be implemented in the future? Otherwise I am in love with this skin, it is one of the most amazing pieces of work I have seen to date.

ok i can get the iPhone skin to see my phone and make calls , but i can't access the sim or phone's phone book.

I can't hear anything through the speakers when the person on the other end is talking, and the mic doesn't work for me to talk to them.

The rr phonebook works fine. I also get signal and battery info. I can't access the recieved or missed info from the phone.

Here is what i get in the debug.txt file now:

I'm using a usb cable for my connection. I have a Samsung Sync A707.

Does anyone know of a way to make it so I can use these features or am I just going to have to deal?

I really need to let you know that this is an alpha skin. Not nearly ready for release. That is why most people do not release things until they are damn near done if not done.
With patience comes great things. Please wait.

I've been playing with this skin for a couple of weeks now, but I see myself switching back and forth between FU,Iphone and another RR skin because the third option (skin) has MILAGE integrated already and it is handy to calculate Miles/KM to-from work and the total mileage/Km since last fillup. Is it possible for CdR or anyone here to integrate this into FU and/or IPhone?

WinAmp 2.95 is recommended but first try this: open your winamp stand-alone and set the volume about half way then close winamp. Run RR and see if it make a difference..
