your visual has not been set in RR. Go to RRconfig and set your visual. Read the FAQ

I am running Vista and I know it is a pain in the *** when it comes to car pcs, and it may be my problem. I can't seem to get the backgrounds to load. I may have missed a setting in RR config, but I am not sure. The background pics do not load automatically when I open pictures. I have to click the search button at the top and then find them in the iPhone folder under backgrounds. They show up finally, but I can only view them in slide show mode when I click on the red arrows for full screen, but I cannot select them from the blue arrow, it doesn't seem to respond. As soon as I leave pictures the background is still black in audio mode, etc. Any help is much appreciated.

click full screen when you find the picture you want and it will save.

I was able to access the folder with the pic and view them in full screen, but they will not load as a background for the skin. When I first downloaded the skin and opened it, there was a ferrari background but I clicked the blue arrow and the background went black and has stayed that way ever since. Probably a Vista and RR bug.

since we're all asking questions....
UMPC..how the hell do i get that sucker to embed in iPhone skin? i'm using the other iguidance.exe file...but its just way to small to be usable during driving conditions....BUT i like the fact when i run iguidanceUMPC.exe by itself..like stand alone, its freaking huge, and so much easier to use because everytihng is alot bigger...or am i'm asking for to much, and someone'll tell me to go read the FAQ's.....sorry...i mean everything else works perfectly on the skin, and i can't begin to tell you how many people compliment the skin.....

You just need to point RR.ini to the umpc.exe
The actual embedding is the same for either version as RR just looks for a window named 'iGuidance'

Why don't you go read the FAQ or better yet - 
It looks like it's calling whatever you have in RRConfig GPS setting so just change it there.

i swear...you guys look at someone's post count like its their IQ. Unfortunately it doesnt take a genious to figure out to link a program back to a certain locaion/file. I knew that was the problem right from the start. Let me lay it down for you.
1. i set it up in RRConfig.exe just like that. Click GPS than click on exteranl path...pick iguidanceumpc.exe or whatever. but when i open up rr and launch tthe gps section from there...it'll open up in its own window and take up the full screen, ignoring RR totally.
2. after setting the path to the iguidance.exe it works and embeds perfectly.
3. thinking that maybe its just a resize issue in the skin, i researched into it, and of course it wasn't. so i tried it out on both my carputer, and my test pc. Still nothing.
4. come on here and search...yes..oh my god..did a "newb" acording to IQ...duh...i mean post count just say search??? wow...now you're probably impressed...but nope...nothing on here helped...or actually i shouldnt' say that...nothing on here was directly related to my problem.
5. so this lead me to do what i know to do when i got a question that needed to be answered. Figuring that hey..no one likes it when a stupid topic is created..and of course if i was to start a thread it would be like "hey search...or try the FAQ" ...why not just add to a thread that already exsists which people are subscribed to and def. get a nice solid responce from there....guess i was wrong.
/end rant
in the end i'd like to say thanks for making such an amazing skin once again, and my front end is now complete. and to black...thanks for the suggestion. Upong copy and pasting the entire path, as well as renaming the gps filename i got it to work and embed like a champ. Very strange i know.....

Sounds like you have the UMPC set to launch full screen which is over riding RR timer for embedding. I would say this would be a IG issue and not a RR issue. What is the IG behavior under other skins?
