Release - AvicZ2 800 x 480

Hello all, whilst I was working on new color skins for my avicted skins (download below in my sig) I decided I'd like to make a 480 skin as well, since my screen is/will be widescreen. This skin is based on my first one, just changed a few things around. So here's my second try at making skins. Hope you like it.

Stretched to 800 x 600 (through rr)

I kinda like that the vis is transparent so you can see the album art below. This will be something the user has to change in the screensaver.ini, I used a value of 100 for default opacity. The blank black spots next to the album art on both sides, and the visu button on the top activate/cancel the vis. The buttons on the top are larger than they appear (like objects in your passenger side mirror) so clicking pretty close to the option will work.

Release Notes: (Last Update Uploaded 06/09/07)
1.2: Changed Menu skins (Main_Menu, Audio_Function, Video_Function, Exit_menu) to more closely resemble this skin as well as the OSK. Also added transition effects to most skins. Red skin released.
1.1: Added minimize button to all skins except wbrowser (webfavs) and video_player (zoom) by clicking the pioneer button.
Changed text in AUDIO_BROWSER to "expand folder" from "next folder"
Beta Release: Please read included readme file. This pioneer logo at the top left is also in some skins a button.

This skin has evolved into the hAv1c skin. Information can be found there about the new skin.

just a minor change, but id make the visu a little more transparent. its kinda hard to read/ see the art

i agree, but how do i do this to just the visu, and not the whole skin?

use screensaver.ini to chance to the opacity of the vis.

Changed it to 800X600 and it still look and work great.

It's kind-a surprise when you hit the Day/night button, i had no idea that would happen

I got stuck tho'..how do you go back to AvicZ2 without having to close the skin?

what do you have set for your day/night skins?
And what happens? what it's supposed to do or something random?

for my test rig, i put both as the AvicZ2, so I haven't even tested that button. (also, I'm pretty sure the autoskinmode should be set to 0, otherwise it resets to the original skin depending on time.) I think I'll be using the auto skin change for the most part, but not sure if I want to keep changing it for seasons changes.

One thing I tried to do with this skin is allow it to be used in almost any horizontal orientation. As long as you change the .ini for what the skin displays, it should strech well. The other thing is the visualizations and "screens" (dynamic areas) are pretty close to the same apsect ratio, so most things will be the correct ration (skin browser is for sure in the correct ratio, so this will help preview a skin on your own screen.)

I happened to have Shock-V1 as night skin and when i hit the day/night button, it switched to that skin; i was expecting Z2 to just dim. Shock-V1 don't have provisions for switching day/night skins so i had to exit.
Come to think of it, i could have used it's skin browser.. duh!

Ah! folks might never know there's a minimize button if you don't tell'em

ya, i was going to update the main post with the easter eggs that i've put in it.
Ya, gamma will dim it (and everything esle too.) working on colored night skins tonight, may release those later, as the PSD's are much easier to manipulate.
