Thanks guys.
With the amount of commands I put into this skin, I'm surprised not more people are posting issues or what-not.
I guess that's a good thing.

Hey Sal R., great skin. It works like a charm. Just 2 requests from over here. Is it possible to go to an exit menu when the "exit" button is pressed. I tried to fix this myself in RR-skin editor but I got a bunch of errors.
Second question: Can you add an OSK-button in the external GPS menu, as i use Destinator PN and I need en OSK to enter an adress,
Thanks in advance

Do you mean all the "EXIT" buttons in the skin, or just "EXIT" from MENU.skin? Depending on you config, there is an exit menu when exiting from MENU.skin.

Sure thing, I'll post an alternate skin file for EXTERNAL_GPS.skin when I get home tonight.

I mean a menu for when I want to shut down Road Runner and the Car PC. The original BMV2 skin has a menu with "Shut Down", "Hibernate", "Reboot" Etc. I really need such a menu.
Thanks in advance

Might want to check your rr config.
There is an exit menu available, as GF-ler has pointed out.

Here's an alternate EXTERNAL_GPS.skin that adds an OSK button.
Just remove the ".txt" from the end and copy/paste into the skin folder replacing the old one.
Oh, you'll have to edit the button code that will bring up the OSK for destinator as I have no idea what the command is.

Thanks man, but the button just needs to open the standard MMI osk. I tried that with an other skin an that works fine. What do I have to add in the .skin file?
BTW I have the exit menu working now.

Don't have to add anything to the skin file.
Just:
1. Download the file I attached.
2. Remove the ".txt" at the end so the file name is "EXTERNAL_GPS.skin"
3. Then just copy and paste the downloaded file into the MMIv2 folder replacing the old "EXTERNAL_GPS.skin"
You'll have to look up what the command that brings up the OSK for Destinator and edit B99 in the skin file. Open the skin file using notepad, copy and paste the command.
I went through all the different skins in my folder and couldn't find what that command is. There are a number of ways to bring up the OSK, each w/ a different function as how the text entered is passed.

I got the osk to work. I changed the "OSK' command into "APPOSK" and now I have a full screen OSK. Just one last question remaining. When I type in, for example "Amsterdam", only the last letter "m" get's on the the input line of Destinator PN, so it's starting to search for cities starting with a "m"
Any ideas on this one.
