the reason is, that the OFF screen is always in the background. the second screen (DOWN or ON) with the same boxes... graphics as second layer, gives different colors in the area of selected buttons.
i go another way for that problem. the OFF screen is complete with all boxes, buttons aso..
on the ON / DOWN screen are only the buttons, indicators.
so i had always the same transparence on every point of the screen.
ok, i have now taken out everything except buttons or indicators on the on and down screens. the boxes showing the off sections had been bugging me, but i didn't understand how to fix it til i read this post again
thanks to everyone for all the suggestions on making my skin better, they have helped a lot.
now for the list of added/changed stuff:
1: added exit buttons to screens i missed last time
2: made a filemanager screen
3: made a second main menu screen, button is hidden under the flash logo
most of the items on the main menu screens are labels so they can be
easily changed to whatever you want.
4: made a screen for gps and audio player combined.
5: got rid of all the areas around buttons that show the off image when
pressed.
6: added a button to access the coverflow screen in the audio browser
screen, its where the cancel button was in the lower right.
