Changing all these paths to my background path didn't fix the problem. Could I bother you for a clue of what I am doing wrong?
Thanks

hi,
iam sorry, but something goes wrong between my install and the package NIGHT APPLE.
FIRST:
normaly its not important what name of skin you use.
only in a phase of playing with the COVERFLOW application i use the realnames of disk, path and folder. the original was C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Skins\RX8_Trans
WHATS TO DO ?
in my rr.ini is written:
[Skins]
skinpath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Skins\Freedom 2.1\
transition=-1
backgroundpath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner
a skinpath you selected too, but did you wrote anything under backgroundpath ?
if not, write it directly under [skins] see below.
backgroundpath=C:\Program Files\Road Runner..... IF YOUR INSTALL IS DIFFERENT, TAKE YOUR INSTALLPATH.
that means, for every skin the backgroundscreens are in folder BACKGROUNDS in path ROAD RUNNER.
some guys fixed the backgroundscreens inside her skinpath. so you have in any skinpath a BACKGROUNDS folder... thanks for discspace killing.
this is the way i copy the files inside the package, but forget to give a copy of the rr.ini.

next step,
in BACKGROUND.skin file please exchange the followed line
/SD,00,00,180,180,"$backgroundpath$","*.jpg",,,,,,, ,
SD,00,00,50,50,"$backgroundpath$\Backgrounds","*.j pg",0,,,,,,,
that means, roadie looks under (whats written in variable $Backgroundpath$\folder Backgrounds.
in your BACKGROUND.skin is written: SD,00,00,50,50,"$skinpath$Backgrounds","*.jpg",0,, ,,,,,.
