Skin Direction, Help.. Fusion Brain Integration Also.

Ok, well i thought i might as awell start this post now, im going to need help with my custom skin, ive done plenty of research and really just need help weeding out the info i need.. im not a lazy guy lookin for answers, if people can point me in the right direction to me to read and get the know how, im all for it.

To Start,

Firstly my music page, all im looking to be able to do it have on the left side i guess, a list, to list all my playlists, which ill have as an album sort of deal... and on selection show the playlist on the right side? ive been unable to find the answers to do this, so can anyone guide me to do that? im unsure still how how u can point the lists etc. to certain info to display.

Secondly:

2k toast may be helping big here.. lol

I really want to control my air ride system, well lets say i do want to, its the whole reason i bought a carputer, now using the fusion brain software its a sinch to make it kick over my relays.. but i want to control it all through RR in my own skin through there..

Now reading through the embedding of apps, into RR and that, seems as though it just loads a certain APP inside of RR to use it.. unskinned?

it would much much easier for me to make my skin in RR, and point my buttons to the corresponding buttons in an open instance of the fusion brain software in my system tray no?

I want to be able to read air pressures in RR.. and also run a few maths equations on selection of buttons, either in Fusion brain software or RR, whichever easier.. and from there activate certain relays... until a certain pressure is met..

so like

IF Valve1 < 100psi
ACTivate valve1until100psi is met..

that sort of thing.. a bunch of them. anyways im rattling off a bit here but if anyone could point me in the right direction or could help me along the way heres my airride skin at the moment too..

Using sliders individually for front and rear.. then preset height buttons along the middle..

Irts a pretty simple concept and im sure alot of you guys understand what im trying to acheive here..
Thanks for reading.. Ryann.

Ok, for the embedding apps, it works like an external GPS program. It opens and when it does it loads its skin commands. So the FB skin can do the equations in a simple if/else. I am trying to program it to be able to be a more "programmable" type skin if that makes sense .

But I am having big trouble with the COM object. I have tried quite a few different tries and nothing wants to work. So I am looking for the answers for that. Once I get that completed, then you can do everything in RR, and just use the COM to talk to the program.

An extension plugin would probably be the best thing for controlling FB from RR.. but this would have to be done by someone who owns a FB and knows enough programming to get by with it.. provided some sort of SDK, this shouldn't be very difficult.

I own a FB, but fail miserably at the second part of that sentence I am looking forward to COM between RR and FB for sure! I haven't even taken the FB out of the box, except when it first arrived to look at it.... When the COM comes along, then that will most certainly change hehehe

Also, on the first part of your thread.. the next release of RR has just what you're looking for the left side of your screen -- I'll PM you a beta link.
