Nice work.. you don't have to tell the user to set this or that in ExecTBL.INI -- each skin has the option to have its own ExecTBL to be loaded on top of the main one. Just include the attached INI with your packages and be done with it.

the user still has to set the outlook path in this exectbl.ini though, but this makes it easier. Thanks! what do you think of the plus version so far?

Ok, I don't use gestures, so that didn't occur to me, but that's easy to do. Fixed in the hAv1cPlus version 1.1 release.

It's looking good.. I loved the thing with the font color changing on the fly.
You can allow the user to set the path to Outlook from within the skin if you want (By typing it in the OSK though -- which is kind of painful).

I'm uploading a video of the font color changer right now.
For outlook, I used the default folder in the included ExecTBL.ini, since it's not something that constantly changes, the user can just change it the first time in the ExecTBL.ini, and leave it alone from there.

Nor do I, but I have it on for testing purposes when I do my skins.

uh, open up the Color.skin and make sure it has three /define lines like this:
/DEFINE FRed 255
/DEFINE FGreen 255
/DEFINE FBlue 255
The fonts are there, but the color for them isn't defined. If you open this skin in the skineditor and save it, it doesn't keep the info above. Normally though, the font color stays there.
if you click on one of the colors in the screen above what happens? Also, do your backgrounds show correctly (the labels for them?)

for those that haven't dl'd the skin yet, the "day night" button on the screen above is inactive for now. It will be implemented in a future release. To switch to your day or night skin, the active button is in the skin browser screen.
@treetop777 - I was showing this thread to someone and they wanted to know where you got your "2 Swirl.jpg" from. PM me about it. Also did you try out the custom color chooser yet?
[note to self]download some better backgrounds[/nts]
Anything that someone would change?
Glad to see it's been well received so far.

thanks YvesG for the vote, anything that could be done to make it better?
(he's only got one post from three months ago, so he probably won't reply...)

Pm sent.
Imagine if you could have 2 buttons right up front on the main menu; one to cycle trough backgrounds, the other for text colors... (never satisfied)
BTW, custom colors are working just fine.

I was thinking of making context sensitive menus so that from the main screen if you click menu the menu shows something different in place of MUSIC, VIDEO, and GPS (since that's just sitting right next to it. but if you're in the audio screen and click menu, it will show menu items related to that (VIDEO and GPS would show, but not MUSIC since that's the menu you're already in)
Those buttons may evolve into that actually.
I'm going to look into the whole ilist thing too, so that maybe in the works as well...
