Looking at the property of binary i downloaded, Dec. 14th is the creation date. Just loaded Ultimate, and it does what it shold do with embedded art.. El Camino is on to something! I just tested Tek2 with a playlist of 115 tracks with embedded art..worked flawless.

I'm still running the 11/4 ver. of RR and i believe there are reported problems with embedded art (and other things) with the latest RR "release" (that haven't been "officially" released )

That's the version I'm using as well ... the 11/4 ver. coupled with Winamp 5.13. If you are reinstalling RR try using this version and let us know how you get on !

Apparently, that was it guys... older version seems to work fine.. Don't know why FU worked with the newer ver. though... Should guino aware of this?

Hello all, complete noob here. I loaded Teknik which is great but for some reason I cannot see playlists under the music button. I am running Winamp 5.13. In the config file the music path is set to where I keep all my mp3's (which works) and I have the playlist path set to a different folder.

When I bring up RR, and go to my music, and manage playlists there is nothing there. If I create a new playlist (from RR) it does place it into the folder I have specified but I cannot see it either.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to add the "m3u" filetype to the list of playable audio files. You can do this using the config program - look for "Audio File Tyes" in the music section or by changing this line in your RR.ini file as below.

audiofiles=mp3,m3u

This line is in the music section of your INI file.

Thank you that did it!. The last problem I have is with the pictures. In the config I have set in the Picture Path (Picture Viewer) pointing to where all my pictures are but when I use RR, press pictures, it shows a list of folders "Document and Settings" Windows etc...

This is my last hiccup otherwise I am good to go. Any help would be appreciated

Hi austinjenna ... ok, the picture viewer is an external app that works with RR. It uses it's own config file. So inside the TEKNIK folder there is a folder called ImageViewer, and inside there is a file called ImageViewer_Config.ini. If you edit this text file and change the setting called "Init_Path =" to be where your pictures are then this program will display the pictures as you want !

Can someone help, im having problems. When i click backgrounds, roadrunner runs at 98% and nothing happens. Ive read through this thread and tried everything suggested but i still cant get it working.

have you checked the "backgroundpath" setting in your RR.ini file. There should only be one entry in the RR.ini file for this and it should be called "backgroundpath". Using the config program sometimes messes this up and so you need to manyally edit the ini file.

If you want to post your RR ini file here I can review ...

Ok.. I just pict up my CarPC-project after 2 years and I found this skin (2.0).. amazing!
It works great, but I have a few problems.. (sorry for my spelling by the way, I'm from Holland!)

1- In the 'music library' you can scroll the mp3-list. This looks great with the 'rolling-effect', but every time I 'roll' to the next page it misses 1 mp3. Looks like the screen is 1 line to short. I have a Lilliput 7" touchscreen by the way. Is there a way to turn off the 'rolling-effect'?

2- If I close RR with the volume (for example) to 50% and I start RR again the volume still says 50% and works on 50%. But if I press 'vol. -' once then the systemvolume goes to 0%. RR stays on 50%. So if I now go to 55/60/etc.% in RR, the systemvolume goes to 5/10/etc. %. This is fixable by first going to 0% in RR and then RR pics up the systemvolume at 0% and everything works fine again. Does this have anything to do with the skin? RRconfig is set to 'all lines' which works best for my system.

3- When I press the 'light-bulb-button' in the 'music library' screen nothing happens. This is for 'gamma-control' right? In RRconfig I have it set to 'gamma-pannel' and the path is set to the 'gamma-map' in the 2.0 skin. Red is set to -50%.

4- I have installed Destinator 3 and MapMonkey. GPS-settings is set to 'menu'.
MapMonkeypath to 'c:\Detinatoraps\Destinator\MapMonkey\MapMonky.exe .
GPS-path to the same file (don't really know what GPS-path is for).
When I press 'satnav' you can choose for IG/Des./xxx. I press Destinator and then you only see the Destinator-button. Nothing happens after then! Looks like it doesn't embed or something. When I start MapMonkey in WinXP it works, but not in RR.

5- I want to use the radio in RR, but don't know what to buy. Radioshark 1 is not for sale anymore and Radioshark 2 doesn't work with RR (for what I read). I read that D-Link doesn't have good antenna. It must have FM-freq. and USB/PCI. And work with RR without writing some plugin or ini.file because I don't understand that very well.
I read a lot around here about radio whit RR, but there is just too much information!

Well, al lot of questions but I hope someone can help!

hi Lithje,

1. are you talking about the iLists ? if not then I have the same problem with the playlist and I'm not sure of the fix. I have asked on this forum but got no answers.

2. I have my RR volume set to "master" and the volume works correctly - as it should. Try changing the RR setting to master.

3. The "light bulb" was actually for coverflow intergration (browse by cover) but it's not implemented in the skin yet. So this button does nothing.

4. you need to edit the GPS_Menu.skin file to change the program the is called from within the skin so that it calls your version of destinator.

5. I don't actually use the radio func at all - no usb radio on my setup. so I can't offer much hel pfor that one I'm afraid.
