I have this radio and it works fine in the house but in the car it has bad reception. I added a HD radio with Mitch's cable to control it with RR.

rubbish with the wire ,(if thats how you had it) much better with the arial conversion, and even better when you use a £150.00 tv/radio signal boaster.
but i think if you can use the sat radio its the way to go . i'm sure Val will be willing to do a sat skin, just amatter of finding 1 that really works well to work from.

I had sat radio, XM to be more precise, hated it.
I now use the HD radio with Mitch's cable and I love it. Flawless reception, HD radio not to mention and guess what, free. That's right not paying for XM or Sirius is great. I allways like the idea of getting radio for free. Why pay for something when you get it for free anyway. By the way, I dont have cable tv either. Cause guess what HDTV is free was well.

for some reason the "SatNav" button does not work for me in either of the skins. Is there a setting that i need to do for that. When I click on it, nothing happens. I'm using IG4.

Cheers
I've looked thru to RR.ini, and it looks good to me. Do you have ilists activated on TEK2. I ask because on a test system I had here, wen I had iLists turned on the system would freeze because I did not have DirectX installed.
Does the freezing happen on any of the other lists ?

2. I have my RR volume set to "master" and the volume works correctly - as it should. Try changing the RR setting to master.
3. The "light bulb" was actually for coverflow intergration (browse by cover) but it's not implemented in the skin yet. So this button does nothing.
4. you need to edit the GPS_Menu.skin file to change the program the is called from within the skin so that it calls your version of destinator.
5. I don't actually use the radio func at all - no usb radio on my setup. so I can't offer much hel pfor that one I'm afraid.
Hope these answers help in some way !
1. I don't even know what the iList is.. I'm talking about de list you see when you push the 'music library' button. You can choose 'up' and 'down' and then you get the rolling effect.
2. I set it back to 'master' and it works great. When I installed the skin the other lines were acting weird. That's why I set it to 'all lines', but that seems to be ok now.
3. haha ok I didn't know that. Something for the future!
4. I really don't know how to edit that skin-file.. I am new whit editing. Have to read more about it first.
5. Don't ask how, but if I'm lucky then tomorrow I'm gonna buy me a RadioShark 1 !!
I called almost every shop in Holland, and now I found one which has one Radioshark 1 left! If everything goes right then I got it monday. I hope so, all my radio-problems will be solved!!
Three days ago my PC kept starting up.. it didn't stop! Searched the web for two days and I found the answer.. my 'wireless USB' was giving it a hard time. Glad I got it fixed!

I don't know why, but my reply isn't posted again..
anyway, I just got hold of a RadioShark 1.. I'm jumping around the room here!
How does it work with this skin? When I get it at home (probably monday), do I just install it on my PC and then set RRconfig to 'Radioshark' and that's it? Or do I have to edit something..?

I would imagine so ... just install the radioshark and get it working in windows first - then config RR to use it and that shold be it ...

To come back at your other answers:
1. I don't even know what iList is.. will look it up on the forum and check if it is turned on in RRconfig.
2. RR volume set to 'master' works! I had problems with the other lines but that seems to be gone now.
3. haha so that's what the light-bulb is for.
4. I don't even know how to edit a GPS_Menu.skin file.. Have to look that up!
5. RadioShark 1 is on the way! Lucky man here!
Thanx for the quick reply!
