Reason: TEKNIK2 - Update #2 Released.
at the moment the skin is about 90 % completed ... some work to be completed on the Radio skin, and some on the "ON" screens etc ... afterthat I'll release.
unfortunately these ain't in PSD format I haven't had time to learn it yet, so I'm using MS Visio and the files are in VSD format, but if anyone else want's them I'm more than happy to release them.
Here are some screenshots from Teknik v2.0 ... still in development. This is a sister skin to Teknik v1.0 and should have the same functionality as v1.0 ... coverflow may be added once I can get it working correctly (the album select function ain't doing what it should at the moment)
Images are ... Menu, Audio Player, Audio Player-2, Music Library, and Skin Browser.
Any comments or suggestions for either skin ???

Reason: Added description for images.
In your first skin i think it would be more natural to reach for the most common functions (audio, video, satnav) towards the top. For sure move the "exit" button to the very bottom.
That's a good point about the menu layout in v1.0 - I'll rearrange the items to allow for the more commonly used items at the top, and having the exit at the bottom does make more sense, but I just though having it highlighted somewhere different added to the visual appeal of the screen.
another one, would be the restart song button, you can have something else there, and relocate that to the "prev" button, using push & hold. once again. nice really nice.
i really like the iphone style look.
it's flash? (hope no)
i'd lower the buttons a lil to get more visible area
and make the background transparent and choosable
moved to the top 3 on my skins wish list along with tensai's SE2.1 and mac flavour (long time unfinished project)
Humm ... lower the buttons is certainly do-able ... the transparent and choosablebackgrounds not so do-able unfortunately.
These are created using Microsoft Visio which cannot save with transpartent backgrounds ... I haven't had time to learn PS fully so for the time being I'm restricted to non transparent skins ...
by the way - this is totally non-flash to run on my 1.1ghz celeron cpu !
