@DavidP - how come you input a GBpath in extras when there is a BG path you can set in RRConfig??
Can you post your background.skin with the changes you made; seem I'm the only one can't get it to work!

@Blk02si - Aside from my BG problem, everything else in Shock works perfectly. The info bar is a great addition.

Hey Treetop,

RRconfig does not write the background variable line to rr.ini correctly.

You need to manually add the:

backgroundpath=xxx in your rr.ini

or use the extras section to manually add it to rr.ini

Davids code is the same with the exception of the slash angle on the last line of code in background.skin.

exactly, rrconfig writes the line "background="

also, im not sure if the angle of the slash matters, i was just guessing and checking till it worked, lol.

Indeed, we can now all use a backgroung.skin with a central BG folder thanks to you. However, in light of this http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road...ml#post1153986 post #442, we should make the changes necessary in the BG.skin code to make it use the line that is written CORRECTLY by RRConfig in rr.ini and not have to input anything manually - that should be simple, right?

I suppose it would be as easy as changing all the $backgroundpath$ to simply $background$ in the skin file.

This is strange because when the first thoughts of adding this to RR the variable was known as backgroundpath, and it has to be in RR somewhere because it works great!

Ill test it out, see if it works.

We'll I had it working and then I did a fresh install on my cf and this is what I get. I have updated the flash and the lastest RR. I also updated the ExecTBL.ini file. I can change to DFX 3.0 and it looks right. I'am missing something just don't know what. Any help would be great. Thanks

another thing that can cause the pink ilists is if the bmp isn't big enough to cover the area it's supposed to. i ran into this in my skin, and the best way i found to overcome it is to make the ilist bmps 800x600 resolution, that solved it for me.
