way to go

Yeah the big rounded buttons may not be everyone's cup of tea - but this exercise was about getting my system up and running and learning how to make things work in RR and the big buttons were easy to do and the button shape sort of suits the rest of the car's interior switch gear (it is an old bmw)

I initially started just using other peoples skins - and there are some fantastic ones out there (I swap to other skins when I want to show off to someone ) - but discovered I learnt more about getting things to work when I was making my own. I don't really want any features that I can't get to work myself.

BMW Skin

Here is a simple skin I made for while I am working out my system. It is running on a lilliput running at 640 * 480

Front screen - just the bare basics. The buttons on the right are the same for every skin - that way I can use them with out having to look at the screen (RHD Car so the volume and next/previous/play/pause buttons are closest to me)
The way I drive I can't afford to take my eyes off the road for too long - hence the big rounded buttons.

Audio Player - again just the basics

Mixer

Megatune - for megasquirt ecu

System details with Task Manager, Windows Explorer, and Notepad - Ideal for when things stop working and you have to try and regain control of the system

GPS

Have been running this for a couple of months now - adding to it when I get time and need a new feature
