That sounds like a good solution, whos going to take up that challenge to create transpartent text overlays for each menu item?

It's not that hard with photoshop. A minute a piece maybe.

Would love to do it... but I dont even own Photoshop.
More possible ideas if any wants the challenge.
Options for display Music Art on the main menu.
Also possibility of added the visulizations in the background transparently?

The nice thing about doing the overlay is that we only need one set of background jpegs for menu 1, 2 & 3

This one is pretty easy, you can steal the code right out of the audio_player.skin. The exact same location should work on the main menu.

You all are doing an excellent job on this skin. i love how it is coming together. the one question that i have is, is there going to be a signal strength and battery indecator for cell phones? I know that there is bluetooth connection idicator, but that will just tell me if my keyboard or phone is connected but not which one. Other than that can't wait to see all these improvments implemented into one.

looks like the PSDs don't quite open properly in GIMP.
Will have to try and get my hands on Photoshop.

I spend some time with Fixer's XM screens and modded them to Sirius (and it works BTW) but I can't get the Sat and Ter indicators to work. I had the same issue with the Shock skin, so it's obviously something I'm doing wrong.

The skn commands for XMsat and XMter are different for sirius, but I am sure you know this I just wanted to be sure you changed them. It can be easy to overlook the simple stuff.

Well yea, I tweaked all the skin commands to the Sirius ones. i.e. SRReload, SRFav, etc, etc, etc. That part is east and always works fine. But the sat and ter bars don't work. There must be more to it than just switching all the XMs to SRs. I'll have to do some more research.
Just a though, is there a specific path that I need to put your indicator images into?
