Yes the big as$ed lawyers could come down here and give us a desist order but that would only get them more bad publicity than good (hope they read that bit if they read this thread at all), and then it would go underground and be passed on and spoken about via PM's.

How many winamp skins have been canned because they are built around pioneer, clarion, alpine stereo images?

Also the iDrive skin has been about for two years or so now, still vaiting for ze germans to come and hit me. (or maybe that's the reason both my sites are down

)

I was suppose to do the weather skin but I haven't gotten to it yet. I'm working on landing a new job so I've been busy if someone doesn't get to it in the next few days I will do it.

heres my search/rating stuff, based in activewinamp, i use it a lot, so i decided to post what i have done to carwings. feel free to add it to your updated version if you like it.

mate I will as soon as I have some more screens done. At the moment there is a menu, audio and radio skin and nothing else.

Need to see some more original carwings screens.

Any closer to releasing a newer Carwings revision with all these added features/screens? I'd love to have a gas-prices screen on there since I've now got my carpc setup to link to my phone via bluetooth and access the 3g EVDO internet connection to pull down data as I'm driving.

1 question, is there a DVD screen in the works? Hope this isn't a repeat question or has already been explained. I searched the thread but didn't see it.

There isn't a DVD screen yet. I believe RR needs an external program to play DVDs, at least that's what's done in the BMV2 skin. I'll poke around and see if I can whip something up.

I have all the menus done by the contributors in this thread, just have been busy with a few other projects and have not had much time to work on it, however, stay tuned as there will be another 'super-pack' release

Thanks blk02si...I see all these screens and drool because the quality is just top notch.

One think I would like to know is that when on the movies/videos screen...is there a way to zoom the movie to the full screen? I get about a 2x3" picture on my 7" screen WITH the bars on top and bottom.

awsome skin though... I'm re-locating the screen in my Maxima, so after that I'll take some pictures of it.

help!!! I cannot get this skin to work. loads, but when I goto anything if freezes. I press the music button and its stuck. 100% cpu. onlu way out is to force quit. any suggestion appreciated.

i can get to the tuner, but no turn on radio

Let's try to narrow this down...

first of all, did u try other skin and it all worked?

if so, then green light on RR...

But, I doubt it.. cuz this skin setup is very straight forward, all u need to do is copy and paste into ur working RR/skin dir. And bam!!

double check again with other skin and make sure ur rr setting is all correct... path, file types... etc.. u know..

i tried the bmv2(sp?) skin and the mp3 part works. I can get mpc to load. the radio screen pulls up but doen't turn on hd tuner. switch to the carwings, still nothing. This skin works fine on my laptop, but not the carpc.

okay. got the radio to work, but the music button still freezes road runner. need help, don't know where to look.
