Carwings v1.0 - RELEASED
I am proud to announce the first public release of Carwings.
Modeled from the OEM Nissan Interface it is sleek, simple, and sexy.
As of right now the skin is only available in one color, Nissan orange.
menu's finished in this release:
-AUDIO PLAYER
-AUDIO BROWSER
-VIDEO PLAYER
-VIDEO BROWSER
-HD RADIO
-IG 3/4 GPS
-MIXER
-PHONE
-SKIN BROWSER
-NUMOSK
Since this fits the bill for pretty much everything I do in the car, I am releasing a separate software development kit in hopes that others will contribute and expand upon what has begun. You will find the source PSD art (CS3) along with the source CWiG Menu scripts. (AUtoIT) in the Carwings-SDK download. Please Note: I am not done coding on this skin by any means, just wanted to get a snapshot out there for you guys to see what is cooking.
There is more documentation in the _READ_ME_.txt file included in the skin. Helpful tips, notes, installation, requirements, TO DO's, things of that nature so it is highly suggested you read that file prior to operating.
With all that out of the way, here are a couple screen shots and the links:
DOWNLOAD Carwings v1.0 7.0mb
DOWNLOAD Carwings-SDK 8.8mb
Special Thanks to Guino and all the great skinners out there, you guys are what make this stuff fun!

First impressions,
looks good, although for some reason not sure about the mixer/EQU screen
Interesting that you have Freefone for your phone app, but are using the phoco connected indicator (does freephone activate that?)
Also you should be able to tweak the freefone jpg to get the colours to match the skin more. (I have for the next release of iDrive Night Red)
Don't have IG but the 'floating' menu above Destinator 6 still looked cool, although it obviously couldn't control it.
Will have a more detailed look when I can play on my home PC.

Looking really good! I see you were able to pull off the AutoIt stuff for the GPS screen, that just looks so slick with the curve and shadow over the top of iGuidance. Nice work!

Wow I have to say so far this is one of my favorite skins. I really like the look and the feel of the whole thing. I can't wait til you get the rest of the menus finished.

Love the skin so far. The parts that done and working are really well polished.
One minor thing and most people will never notice this, but when the volume indicator is at 100%, the percent symbol is partially cut off.

Dammit, meant to mention that in my post above, but by the time I had listed the other things I had forgot about that.
Also (minor niggle) the time goes off the edge to the right if you have it show seconds and am/pm.

blk02, simply elegant and beautiful...
Couple of issues when i display this in 800 x 480... If this isn't meant for that resolution, then nevermind.... I'll point them out for your info anyway...
In navigation view, the left navigation menu didn't get resized accordingly...
In video, viewable area didn't get resized accordingly which makes the bottom navigation part floating about inch above from the bottom...
That's all for now..^^
Oh by the way, just for my curiosity, when i click zoom in.. it runs an extra script which I can see on the task bar.... but i don't see that when i click zoom out... It works great, just puzzles me a little bit what the difference would be..
