IM sorry to say that this just doesnt appeal to me... Colors are horrendous and the clock in the middle seems out of place
Sorry for the harsh comments, just trying to be honest. Ignore me if you want...

I see you added some GPS information to the front screen.. that's pretty useful!

However, I do have to agree with the above poster about the colors.. I think the stock colors look the best, but that's just an opinion.

I like the red border around the selected DVD button, that looks slick. As for the other choice of colors, I have to agree with others here. It looks like you used a roll of life savers for the color palette (Lemon, Lime, Orange, Grape & Cherry) Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I do think its great that you are giving the BMV2 skin an overhaul, it was released a long time ago, and certainly would be nice to see it updated.

(EDIT: Now my post doesn't make as much sense, you removed a lot of the different colors in the first post image )

Actually BMV2 stand for Brush Metal Version 2. Version 1 is the original work of Feb (man forgot his full username) and is for Media Car.
This doesn't look like Brush Metal to me but the design is .

Yo.. that red looks nice... this skin is really good for changing colors around... Also, guys use this skin as default for their developed plugins... And that is BIG PLUS indeed for guy like me ^^...

Wow!

Next time put a warning in the thread title, "Do Not Enter without UV eye protection"

Sorry but just putting a colour wash over a skin is not doing a faclift, it's like getting a tin, nay sack, of a non skin coloured face powder and putting it on with a trowel.

And than that font colouring, to keep to the analogy of 'improving' a womans face, is like putting on totally contrasting colours of eye shadow, lipstick, and cheek highlighter (whatever that is called).

In others words what you have done is taken a simply elegant allbeit ageing lady and turned her it to a cheap over painted tart.

Apart from that it's pretty good.

You're using way too many different colors (red, orange, yellow, blue, green). Use less colors which also complement each other.
